DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
Was scheduled to be induced with my son. When I arrived he complained that I would be there all day after he worked all night on call. THAT’S NOT MY PROBLEM! I was on the schedule! So he decided to slowly up my induction medicine so he could go home and sleep. This wasn’t my first child so I’m not stupid. Some nurses made excuses for him. I asked for an episiotomy and he said I’m only going to do it if I see you’re about to tear. Guess what, 14hrs of labor later he shows back up, I kept telling him the baby is coming. He comes in last minute, I ended up tearing, and he told me it wasn’t a big deal. While he stitched me it was so painful, he said it doesn’t hurt. EXCUSE ME?! I ended up septic the next day. CDC was called and infectious disease took over. Only the Resident believed my fiancé about me being sick with high fevers (don’t use temporal thermometers)thank god cause her and my fiancé saved my life. DO NOT HAVE HIM AS A DOCTOR. Poor bedside manners and only cares about himself!

Absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND.
He blatantly ignored my birth plan and then spoke down to be as I was pushing my baby out. He was HAPPY my friend had a miscarriage and said it was because “she was fat” does not have any bedside manner at all.

DO NOT RECOMMEND
Dr Baker does not listen to his patients and dismisses their concerns. He is cocky, uncaring and willing to gaslight patients into believing their diagnosed medical conditions are not real. I will never see this doctor after my post op and I would recommend any patient avoid him

I moved to SC from NYC and really was hesitant on the providers down here. I went to another office and did not like it. Made an appointment at Dr. Baker's office and they made the transition easy for me. His Midwife and nurses are amazing as well, all the staff actually. Dr. Baker delivered both of my children and has always been available if I had a problem or needed to come in. I could not have asked for a better provider.
