I left an earlier favorable review. It is now one year later and I have tried to schedule my yearly exam. First I received a card reminding me to make an appointment, but not before Nov. 26. When I called I was told I had to wait four months for an appointment.Which means all my scripts will have expired. Just last year, when I was a new patient,(you are charged more the first visit I later learned), I got an appointment right away. I'm switching Dr.s, Dr. Ramsey obviously should have stopped accepting new patients a while ago.

first time, i waited an hour and 15 mins and she spent 5minutes. Recently, the office canceled my appointment 5 minutes before appointment time because the emergency situation on patient. I understand that it happens, but the reschedule process is a joke. they act like you are the one cancel it , and they try to put you in the hour that never work for you. I am very disappointed because i am 3 days away from 40 weeks, and seem like i cant see her before i go in labor

She is very considerate and will answer all your questions. Doesn't rush through your appointment.

I highly recommend Dr. Ramsey. She is knowledgeable, resourceful and best of all very personable and easy to talk with. She gives you the gift of time and a listening ear at each visit.

I absolutely love Dr Ramsey and am so thankful to have found her! She has the most caring bedside manner that I've ever experienced and that is so so important to me. I 100 percent recommend her.

I respectfully disagree with these reviews. I was diagnosed at 4 weeks with gestational diabetes through a blood test and had not so much as met with ANY doctor at Transylvania Women's Care. There was no explanation of my disease other than from a nurse who told me I might have a stillborn because of it. It terrified me and they treated me like a neurotic because I was afraid of my condition. After a second opinion that such a diagnosis was entirely pre-mature I gave up on them.

Very thankful for Dr Ramsey.... I'm here to stay because of the caring and dedicated person she is! Definitely the best!!!

Dr. Ramsey is caring and thorough, and treats me more like a friend than a patient. She really is the best. She worked to get to the root of some problems I was having, and helped me make the best choices regarding treatment. I'm so thankful that she moved to Brevard!

Dr Ramsey is a warm and caring doctor and takes the time to answer any questions and concerns. One can tell that she has a true calling for this line of work.

Having 3 babies in three different states, I have met more than my share of obgyns. Dr. Ramsey was the first to make time to meet with me in her office, not an exam room, where we sat and talked and she listened! I felt like she was getting to know me as a person not just as a patient. She is upbeat, down to earth and caring. She has young children herself and is keenly aware of emotional and physical demands of motherhood. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Ramsey was hands down my favorite OB that delivered my babies. I have four kiddos and I have had midwives and doctors, and I will say Dr. Ramsey is truly the best of both worlds!! She is very knowledgeable and professional while also being very compassionate and understanding. She is clearly very invested in her patients lives and well being and I would absolutely go back to her again if we choose to have another baby!

I LOVED my time with Dr Ramsey! She was easy to talk to and put me at ease! She was kind, respectful and prepared. Great bed side manner! If I have another baby, I would chose her again!

Dr Ramsey was very compassionate and willing to listen to all my needs with every office visit. During my pregnancy and my delivery I never felt alone and I always felt she was being honest and keeping my husband and I informed of everything. The morning of my induction I was very nervous even though this was my third child. Seeing the smile on her face and hearing the calmness in her voice relieved me of my fears and I knew I was in great hands. She has the patients best interest at heart.

Dr. Ramsey is the OB that will assist you like a midwife/doula/Iabor coach. I started w/a midwife in A-ville but Mission proved too far so I did prenatal in H-ville. When I went into labor, the H-ville on-call OB advised me to stop at TRH, and Dr. Ramsey was on-call. In emergent situation, she was incredibly soothing, discerned my birth plan for natural delivery and helped me through like a midwife. Explains treatment options/interventions w/o an agenda other than your (and child's) safety.

Dr. Ramsey is a highly-skilled, compassionate doctor. She helped my wife with some serious medical issues. Would highly recommend.

Dr. Ramsey is knowledgable, caring and attentive. She encouraged me to have my hormone levels tested and advised me on my options for my post menopausal condition. Her recommendations worked, and I could not be happier with the way I feel today and my quality of life at age 55. Thank you Dr. Ramsey!

Dr. Ramsey is so thorough and personable! I love her! She calls me directly w test results, and I have dropped my general doctor altogether, since she can take care of my yearly bloodwork as well as my female appts. I tell all my friends about her!

Dr. Ramsey is one of the most caring, compassionate doctors I have met. She always took time to listen to our concerns and answer questions. Even when we were facing having to switch to another provider she helped us find the perfect fit and made the change seamless. Dr. Ramsey helped us through some very difficult medical issues over a years time and I could not imagine having anyone else by our side at that time.
