Dr. Kelly John, DPM

Went in for a bunion surgery & stated I need to fix my arch on my foot first. Now I am completely flat footed! After cutting into the back of my calf for a tendon, which left me completely flat footed. A screw started coming out while wearing a cast! Which was excruciating pain! 3 other doctors said my foot would never be the same.

Dr. John was open to discussing the options for diagnosing a possible neuroma in my foot. Her suggestion for an MRI while definitely supported, was not my first course of action due to the cost, and my visit being at the end of the year. I would have to meet my entire deductible for the MRI and then have to meet it over again next year. She gave me another alternative to try first to see if it helps with my pain. She’s very knowledgeable and willing to listen!

Went to get information on my foot injury that I had been waiting for answers about. Dr. Kelly John and her staff did a great job of explaining my injuries and options. Happy I went !

She listened to my concerns and worries and took into consideration with her plan of action

Dr. John was very thorough and helpful. I would highly recommend her. I also saw three different residents during my three visits. The first two were great, but the third was less than stellar. Charming, but not really interested in me as a patient, and therefore didn't listen well or ask relevant questions. I should have asked to see Dr. John during that visit.

Dr John clearly explained the bone spurs on the sole of my foot and on the heal, a compensation by the tendons to stretch. Bone is visible on the x-ray and do not want to see that. MRI was quickly scheduled!

Dr Johns was very thorough. I hadn’t seen her since 2008 so she had researched the last time I had seen her for my Achilles & ruled that out with symptoms presenting today. She viewed the X-rays taken 2 wks ago of my feet. She ordered an mri looking for a possible tendon tear.

Dr. John was very professional and addressed my achilles issue directly. She has previously repaired a similar issue I had with my other achilles.

I first went to Dr. John for plantar fasciitis. I believed I tore my plantar fascia due to a horrible tearing, burning, and popping sensation. She didn’t take my concern seriously & did not offer do an MRI but sent me directly to therapy instead. After weeks of therapy and no improvement, she finally ordered MRI which showed a near complete rupture of the plantar fascia. Was in a cast for three weeks. After cast removal, I reported lumps & pain in the ball of my foot and ongoing pain and swelling overall. She continually blamed my symptoms on rheumatic arthritis and never did a thorough exam. Finally sought a second opinion and thank goodness I did. My new doc did a minor in office procedure for my fasciitis and I had immediate relief. The lumps turned were three large neuromas which have since been removed. My quality of life has improved by 100% because of my new foot doctor who listened to my concerns and was willing to make an effort to help me. I would not recommend Dr. John.

She was nice, through and straight forward from the beginning. Has always taken my concerns into consideration and explained everything in detail.

She was great. It’s nice to have a Dr listen and give you her full attention is AWESOME to find now days. Great job
