Disappointing. Rushes you. No explanation. Just no bedside manner

Had cateract surgerry a year ago. Vision in right eye still blury. Extreme sensativity to light in right eye. When asked at my followup appointmentabout about my situation, Stolte said to go get a second opinion and that was that. Two other Doctors have told me there is nothing they can do so go back to Stolte.

I needed a YAG treatment in both eyes and the omptholigist that no longer accepts my insurance. Dr Stolte did and performed procedure without question. I was treated like family and now I can see great. Thank you Dr Stolte and staff for taking care of me.

Dr. Stolte operated on both my eyes in 2014, replacing my cataracts with Crystalens implants.While I am very pleased with the results, I am very displeased with my last (attempted) appointment.I was scheduled to see Dr. Stolte on the days after Thanksgiving,an appointment I had for some time.On the day BEFORE Thanksgiving, I received an email reminder about my appointment on the day AFTER Thanksgiving. When I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted by an empty parking lot and a dark,locked building.When I called Stolte's office the following Monday and asked what had happened, I was told that it was a "computer error."There is an old computer cliche: "Garbage in, garbage out." The person who answered my call was completely unconcerned or not at all sympathetic.No apology at all.THEN they asked if I'd like to re-schedule. I told them I'd think about it--and I have. They wasted over an hour of my time and made me drive 16 miles round-trip FOR NOTHING---and they didn't even care !

I went to see Dr Stolte for the first time today, October 30, 2019 and was extremely PLEASED with both his staff and him! He and his staff were all very nice and took their time to answer all my questions and the same with Dr Stolte. He was very nice and thorough and he showed me the pictures of my eyes and showed me where I do have Macular Degeneration and told me that I have to take Eye Vitamins and he showed me which ones I should take and his staff helped me with that too. I was extremely happy with the total visit and I was called in immediately when my appointment time was met and no waste of time. Every minute I was there was utilized.

Do not recommend them at all, unless you want to have more problems than you had before.

I was referred to Dr. Stolte by my Optometrist because I had a film growing over my eyes due to my cataract surgery 18 months before and my vision was 20/70. The nurse did the exam and told Dr. Stolte I was 20/25 & 20/30. When I told him I could not see even with glasses he said there was nothing he could do. He never took 1 minute to exam my eyes. Now I just paid $1000 out of pocket to get my eyes fixed because they were 20/70 & 20/80. Review his website for the true reviews. Mostly 1's.

Dr. Stolte and his staff are very professional and caring. I went into his office with a very bad eye infection him and his staff were very caring on helping me took the time to explain everything to me. His nursing staff is exceptional especially Jackie who went out of her way with me to me she is a treasure she is true asset to that office. You guys ROCK!!!! ??

Staff is great. Not pleased with surgical procedure outcome. Dr. Stolte offered no resolution and had little empathy for asymmetrical results.

Like visiting a caring uncle. You do not wait. Staff is amazing. Dr Stolte is brilliant. I can see so much better. Had cataract surgery. Very comfortable. He does not rush you. Answers all your questions.

Very knowledgable, friendly staff. Ease of appointment. Always available to answer questions. Highly recommend.
