Replaced Cataract Lens
I had a cataract lens put in 40 years ago that separated from it's placement that Dr. Ward replaced with a new lens. He did an excellent job and was very easy to work with. He listens well and informs you of the steps and what he is going to do and what I could expect to happen.

Awesome Staff & Doctor
Dr. Tom Ward and his staff made me feel as if I was his only patient. Staff was professional, knowledgeable, and informative. Dr. Ward took time to explain in detail what would be happening at my first visit for injections in both eyes for Wet MD. He was compassionate, listened to my concerns, and thoroughly answered all my questions. It was a pleasure to meet and be treated by his team. I highly recommend Dr. Ward to treat any and all retina issues.

Dr. Ward is a rock star in his field!
Over 2 years ago sight in my left eye became blurry followed a few weeks later by increased dark spots blocking my vision by 80%. Dr. Ward’s diagnosis was Macular Degeneration requiring eye injections to save my sight. It took me several weeks to get over my fear of a needle inserted in my eye, but he made the entire process a non-event alleviating all my fears. Numbing drops & numbing injection prior to the final injection is painless and quick! Post injection pain is minimal and alleviated with OTC pain relievers. I see him every 2 months & my sight has improved significantly.

Great Doctor
If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Dr. Ward cares so much for his patients. We called on a Sunday evening and the answering service put him on the phone immediately. We were very surprised and happy to get an answer immediately on an issue that had us very concerned. He’s a very caring person and very knowledgeable and explains everything very clearly and patiently! I wish all doctors were like him!

Great experience and wonderful team.
Dr Ward and his staff are respectful, efficient, and extremely friendly. The staff answers any and all questions while prepping for the exam and then Dr Ward does a great job explaining every step of the procedure, so no surprises. For something that can be uncomfortable, Dr Ward works quickly and talks to you the entire time. Highly recommend.

I have never met a more caring and competent retinal surgeon. His concern for my vision was as though it was his own. Dr. Ward performed surgery to repair a macular hole I had developed. Since moving from Florida I have seen two other retinal surgeons both of whom commented on the amazing work that was performed by Dr. Ward. I only wish I lived close enough to have my other eye under his care. I could not recommend a better physician and surgeon.

He performed some kind of laser procedure for blood vessels on my 93 year old mother( which she said was painful); and my mother could never see well again after this! He never communicated to my family and there was no follow-up! I think that he botched the procedure!
