Dr. Katherine Manasson, MD

Visiting Dr. Katherine Manasson must I say was one of the worst encounters with a healthcare professional I've ever had. From the start it was evident that she lacked empathy and displayed a complete disregard for my well-being. During the appointment Dr. Manasson immediately focused on my weight, bluntly informing me that I was overweight please keep in mind I am twenty-one years old I weigh 165Lb 5 foot and 6 inches and most of my body mass is muscle. I told her that weight was not a worry because I exercise 4-5 times a week and eat a low carb high protein diet. After sharing this information with her she told me I needed to consume a measly 1200 calories a day. When I tried to explain that such a restrictive diet would be dangerous for me due to my past struggle with anorexia, she callously dismissed my concerns, pushed her opinion on me. To make matters worse, she arrogantly claimed that there was no other way lose weight disregarding my assertions that my weight wasn't a problem.

She was wonderful. I have been her patient for many years and she takes wonderful care of me. I have no complaints.

I am a working woman and a caregiver for my aging mother. I really would like to share my review about the doctor’s care my mom receives from Dr. Katherine Manasson. I am truly grateful to the physician professional level and expertise. My mom and I appreciate Doctor’s follow-up and willingness to provide 24/7 support, I have always been able to talk to the doctor and get my mom’s problems resolved, getting my mom’s prescription filled is fast and simple. Coming to the doctor’s office is like dealing with trusted family. My mother would not consider changing doctors because Dr. Manasson is a doctor who really does care. I am pleased with the doctor’s nurse Kellie. She is always courteous, professional, and makes my mom visit as comfortable as she possibly can. Dr. Manasson is the worse! She just hung up the phone on me If you want to be treated as nothing, by all means go and visit Dr. Manasson

This Doctor is awful. Not helpful, rude, interrupts you any chance she gets, dismissive of my concerns, barely explains her diagnoses, takes forever to get into the examination room, extremely unreliable when waiting for test results, and on top of that she has to audacity to rush you out of the room as fast as she possibly can. I’ve only visited her 2 or 3 times before I changed doctors. Every single time I left the appointment infuriated. Don’t waste your time here.

I am writing to express my gratitude for the care given to my mother. Dr. Manasson is an excellent physician. She is very attentive, always answers questions using language that is clear, without using too much medical terminology. She is personable, great listener, kind, compassionate and empathetic to the concerns of my 87-year-old mother and me (a family member). Dr. Manassion is very vigilant about following up on any tests that are done and communicating those results as soon as they become available. During the first week of June 2020 my mother was admitted to the hospital with the health threatening condition. Dr. Manasson got immediately involved in any diagnoses or treatments, tried to gather hospital records and offer timely follow-up after discharge. She is willing to go the extra mile for her patients’ well-being; helps my mother get a prescription medicine approved, secures an urgent appointment for a test or with a specialist, access necessary services like home health.

Dr. Manasson has excellent follow-through. She always calls me with results of testing, even on the weekends. She spends time with her patients, making sure that everything is covered, from diagnosis to recommendation and referrals. I have never waited longer that 15 minutes and she doesn't schedule her patients so often that you are waiting forever to see her. I would strongly recommend her.

Dr. Manasson is very details oriented. She is great about referring to another physician speciality when she feels this is necessary. She explains her concerns & her resolutions.

Dr. Manasson treats her patients at higher grade. She is very responsible, her referenced specialists are the best in the area.

Dr Manasson has been the primary physician of my mother for over 7 years and she has given the best care since. Not only is she very knowledgeable, she is very thorough and caring. I have not experienced a doctor who truly takes the time and attention each time my mother visits her. Very recommendable!

Dr Manasson is one of the most knowledgeable and caring doctors I have had over the years. She repeatedly went out of her way on my behalf to make sure that my insurance company covers the prescribed treatment.

Doctor Manasson is just ok but her staff is extremely rude and disrespectful. The receptionist has really bad attitude all the time and does not follow on anything. I was referred to a specialist and she has never faxed papers that she supposed to send to him. She will not follow on anything even after multiple calls. I will never recommend to deal with this office . Two years in a raw I had morning appointments and was waiting for an hour, nobody came on time.

She listens well and spends plenty of time with patients and is very caring about her patients. Her judgment is very good and she follows with test results and provides detailed instructions on prescription drugs and diet. Overall I found her more caring than many doctors I had in the past who mostly focused on the business rather than wellness of their patients.
