Dismissive
Dr. Harris was extremely dismissive of my at the time undiagnosed adhd. She told me that if I'd actually had it, I wouldn't have possibly made it in education as far as I did, and sent me on my way with an antidepressant instead of providing any actual help. When I eventually went to a different provider, they laughed out loud when I told them she'd said that, and immediately sent me for testing. I got my diagnosis, a prescription, and was directed towards a number of resources for managing adhd, and my life has improved dramatically since. She was similarly dismissive of my issues with insomnia, insisting that I just hadn't been trying hard enough to maintain a normal sleep schedule and responded sarcastically when I told her I had tried for months on end several times in my life, and she flat out rejected me when I asked about trans healthcare. Thanks for nothing, Katherine.

This doctor is very professional. She is empathetic without being a hand holder and a bobble head like some doctors are. I went with my wife to her first appointment because she had a problem with Lewis Gale and switched to Carilion. I wanted to know the new doctor understood her issue. Dr. Harris is a fine doctor.

Dr. Harris is not at Carilion in Daleville to help her patients. You can tell she is just in it for the money. She is not nice, she seemed annoyed, she could care less about my health concerns, when the appointment was done she opened the door and told me to go to the lab and did not say bye or have a nice day or nothing. She very much so reminded me of a Ice Queen very very cold!!!! I have decided to leave their practice because I do not ever wanna see her face ever again!

Proof that there are still reasonable and human doctors being hired. Straight up, no phoniness at all. Caring and REALLY listens. I am SO happy to find Dr. Harris. If you disagree, then the problem is YOU. She demands honesty and I wouldn't want ANYTHING less. She's also young, so unless she moves, I have a life long doctor. Amazingly honest woman.
