Dr. Karen Pantazis, MD

I wanted to leave a review for Dr. Pantazis. She’s always been very professional with me. Her caring attitude does come through each time I’m in her office or on a telephone conference. She’s extremely accommodating and finds solutions for me. Her experience speaks for itself. Her husband is very kind as well. :)

Dr Pantazis is hard to communicate with i saw her for 3 long years. she did not manage my pain i felt she did not hear the words coming out of my mouth. I all ways felt insulted by her. I would not recommend Dr Pantazis for pain management.

she is truthful and tells you what you need to do to work with your pain without souly relying on medication. she has helped me realize I will always have pain how do I live with pain. she is amazing.

Dr Pantazis is one of the best doctors I've had. She's firm, yet fair and successfully walks the thin line of protecting herself, yet providing the care her patients need. She has the right temperament for being in pain mgmt. I admire that she's a straight shooter, and I always know where she stands. She takes copious notes during our visit and asks all the right questions. She's great at detecting bull, so those who try to manipulate will be wasting everyone's time. She's experienced and great at getting to the root of the matter. What works best for my pain is trigger point injections (TPI), which provide a temporary reprieve from my worst pain. I've been getting these injections since 2011 and have been seeing Dr Pantazis since 2018. Her TPI method is more involved than any other doctor whose given them to me. Therefore, I get greater relief for a longer period of time.

I have been to this Doctor several times (by refferal from my primary care physician, pcp). For treatment of chronic pain. My visits with Dr. Pantazis have been very productive to the point of receiving two epidural procedures to my lumbar (lower) back. By following her directions, post-proceedure, it has been very successful in relieving some of my chronic pain. And some relief is way better than no relief. I would certainly recommend her professional care, for any chronic pain patient.

Dr. Pantazis is good but the office staff is awful. When they won't see you as a patient because you miss an appointment that you never made. The staff calls and says you were a no show to an appointment they made and never even let you know that you had an appointment in the first place.

Dr Pantazis flat out refused referrals from 3 of my physicians who are desperately trying to transfer my care due to my current doc going out of business. She flat out “declined” to see me. I have done nothing untoward to deserve to be “declined”. I have abided by every letter of my contracts and been an active participant in my care. I think a move like this says a lot about her personally and as a physician; none of it complimentary.

Dr. Pantazis is an excellent doctor and I would recommend her to anyone.. She is expert in her field , thorough and caring..she explores many options that would be best for her patients.

I saw Dr pantazis after 6 months of not being able to find a Dr in the area because I had just moved back into the area from Southern California. Dr pantazis was very friendly, professional, caring and very very helpful! I was very pleased with her and her services. She is very knowledgeable in her fields. This office acts like they are doing people a favor by seeing them. No concern for people's problems. Treat people like they are drug addicts looking for a fix. And then they will overbill your insurance.

Karen is an extremely smart, intuitive, caring doctor that was referred by my regular md. I live with chronic pain from.an old injury, and now have Lyme disease which just compounds the pain even more. She will actually teach you how to work with it. To not let the pain scare you, and to set limits for yourself. Once you have established a Dr/patient relationship, she is very honest and helpful through your health and pain problem.

Dr. Pantazis is very good at listening. Once she got to know me, she was able to work through different medications to find what worked best for me. Thanks to her, I can now live an almost normal life. Thank you so very much.

Took bare minimum amount of time with me. Did not listen to my problems and was very judgmental and serious lack of empathy..
