Dr. Davids Gave my kids their mom back
Dr. David’s became my doctor after 3 major surgeries from a devastating diagnosis. Where other providers would just want to pump me full of pain meds and send me on my way, Dr. Davids LISTENED to me. She heard me when I said I had 3 young children whom I needed to be actively present in their lives. I was not able to do that with the severe pain I experience nor was I able to be present being pumped full of pain meds until I was a zombie. She worked hard and patiently with me through trial and error until we found a regiment that gave me my quality or life back. This condition did not take my life and as of now I am still blessed with mobility unlike so many others with the same condition, but make no mistake - without Dr. David’s there would be no QUALITY of life. I am now able to play with my kids, help them with school projects, so many simple things that so many take for granted. I will be forever grateful for her taking the time to give my kids back their mom.

Worst doctor I’ve ever been to
Telehealth
She didn’t listen, misinterpreted the MRI report, was going to order an injection at the wrong level! I had to correct her and had to keep repeating myself. The appointment was rushed. She seemed burned out or something.

Finally…a physician that listens.
Dr. Davids spent the time to hear how my pain had adversely affected the quality of my daily living. I am now able to do mild daily exercise and even do some photography. She has given me back the ability to engage with life again. I’m thankful for her care every day.

Caring Professional - Challenging Specialty
Pain Management is a specialty where if you do everything right there will be unhappy patients because we just want it to stop, but that may not be possible. The best Drs. Listen to what the patient is saying ask questions and work with the patient to Develop a strategy that for that person will help return them to a functional life and then make adjustments when needed. Over 20+ years as a chronic pain patient I have been privileged to have 3 (of 5) physicians who have worked with me in this way. Dr. Davids is one of them. I feel fortunate to have found her. It takes time with any new Dr to build trust on both sides of the relationship. Do yourself a favor and give some time for you and you provider to develop that trust before deciding to move on.

Dr. Davids has been very professional during every one of my visits with her. It was recommended by my prior physician to seek assistance from a pain management specialist for a labral tear (hip). After searching online, I found Dr. Davids and am very pleased with how much she cares about reducing my level of pain. Dr. Davids worked with me to better understand what I was experiencing. That is, she asked me detailed personal lifestyle questions about activities that had an effect on my pain (my work, my hobbies, my posture when sitting, my daily activities that were challenging, etc). Even with a similar condition, each patient will experience different levels of pain depending upon their personal lifestyle; I am thankful that Dr. Davids appreciates that.

Dr. Davids was very aloof and didn't listen to my concerns. We had shared 1 video appointment before this and she asked several questions but I guess she didn't make any notes. She reviewed the MRIs my primary physician had ordered and deemed them normal but didn't discuss with me. She asked questions that didn't seem pertinent and didn't explain why. She suggested my problem could be carpal tunnel which is pretty far fetched. She didn't seem to care at all. She referred me to an Osteopathic Medicine MD who one day later sent back a message to her office that he was not accepting new patients. One week later her office had not notified me. Had I not called that doctor's office I might have waited forever. I don't recommend her.

Dr. Davids has been very helpful in helping me create a new team to manage sometimes severe chronic pain that I have lived with for over 20 years. I came to her office following a horrifying experience with a very unprofessional pharmacist who refused to work with the highly respected orthopedic surgeon who had treated me for many decades. Dr. Davids presented a straightforward approach to finding a solution for my presenting challenges. She demonstrated an empathic, thoughtful approach to a complicated problem and outlined data driven options for me to consider. She is willing to work collaboratively with other members of my medical team. I am thankful to have connected with her.

I have suffered extreme chronic pain for most of my life, and as a result, have had my share of pain management specialists. I have been under Dr. Davids care now for about a year, and she is by far the best. Dr. Davids is professional without compromising kindness, compassion and empathy. She listens and is responsive, something that in the midst of covid, has proven to be invaluable. Dr. Davids has an admirable strength of managing to care for my pain pharmaceutically, while also exploring natural resources as well, and spends precious time discussing in full details about one’s life and needs and then compiling a pain management plan that has the very best interest of the patient overall in mind. Dr. Davids has supported me completely, and I will remain under her care for as long as I possibly can as a result. I trust her completely and am forever grateful and indebted to her, sincerely.

I highly recommend Dr. Heather Davids! She came to the rescue in a very professional and compassionate way after my primary Dr. dropped the ball & discontinued a medication I had taken w/success for 25 years for my six back herniations. She read my CT, discussed my care plan and restored my pain relief treatment. Within 2 days of my appt. I feel tons better again. I am so very thankful and grateful that she listened, cared and treated me in a dignified manner.

I have a fairly rare genetic disorder characterized by chronic pain (EDS) that many of my doctors have never heard of, which is frustrating. Dr. Davids was worse- she said she had treated patients with my condition before, and that since I had done research and seen specialists that I should know there’s nothing she could do. (Not true.) I know there’s no cure. I wasn’t asking for medications or anything, just trying to increase my quality of life the little bit I can. This appt really hurt.

Dr. Davids has been my chronic pain doctor for a few years now. Chronic pain has been with me for over 40 years, since I was hit by a drunk driver. I can honestly say that I have NEVER had better care from any doctor. She listens to me, she understands that I do NOT want to take meds, but in order to have a productive life, I must be as pain free each day as possible. I have been so impressed by how she understands, and treats me as an individual. (So many doctors do not). She works with me with the type and amount of meds I need, and is diligent about prescribing exactly the right thing. I would highly recommend Dr. Davids to anyone who is in search of a kind, caring, understanding doctor that will help you get what you need.

Dr. Davids is an amazing Doctor. Despite a lot of patients, she always takes time to ask questions about my condition and how the pain management plan she developed with me is working. Dr. Davids actually looks you in the eyes as she talks with you, I haven't had this type of Dr./patient support in many years. If you are looking for a Dr. who cares about you, your family and your pain management plan, reducing any medication to safe levels and alternative options, reach out to Dr. David's.
