Dr. Karen Hutchinson, MD

This doctor is outstanding!! She goes over everything, listen to me, explains things. Covered other medical issues with me. She is one of the best doctors I've seen.

Only had one visit so far with Dr. Hutchinson. She was very thorough, asked a lot of lifestyle questions, and came up with next steps in my treatment that she explained and made sense to me. So far her care and professionalism have been excellent!

My father is a patient of Dr. Hutchinson's and she has failed to provide him with a referral for an issue she cannot help him with. He has been waiting over two months and Dr. Hutchinson and her staff have not reached out to him, nor have they returned any of his calls. The issues he is having are very serious and it is extremely unprofessional that she has neglected her duties as a physician.

She won't renew your insulin prescription unless you go in to see her every 3 months.

I see this doctor yearly since 2014. In years past, they have sent lab orders (required before the appointment) a month in advance as well as detailed summary of location and parking. I received none of these materials this year and actually had to request my own lab order. I travel 2 hours to this appointment that should last 20 minutes. I was late in arriving, due to extreme confusion, and my appointment was passed for a new patient (an hour appointment). I felt very unprepared to be seen.
