Dr. Kalantar-Zadeh is the finest doctor I've ever had at UCI. It's unfortunate that he has his last day and he's going to get UCLA. I will miss him very much.

It would have been helpful to know ahead of my appointment that Dr. Kalantar-Zadeh was leaving UCI witin 45 days of my first appointment (which required a 6 month lead time to schedule). I would have preferred to meet a different doctor who would provide continuity. This lack of transparent communication was not helpful.

Dr Kalantar is so professional and details oriented .He has a extensive knowledge and experience with kidney problems and makes very effective treatment plans with a close follow up.In addition , he is so patient and cares about his patients.

Dr Kalantar is in my opinion one of the best doctors at UCI Medical Center. I have seen him in the last couple of years for my kidney problem, and found him a great doctor. He patiently explained to me my conditions and progressions, and built a dynamic treatment plan with me that fits my schedule. He is highly experienced and exceedingly knowledgeable, and has always upheld a truly tall standard of professionalism. And yet he is a good communicator. A very thoughtful doctor, highly recommend!
