Dr Johnson has helped me through my heel pain and plantar fasciitis that I have had for about a year. He is very down to earth, and explains your condition and treatment options thoroughly. I would highly recommend.

Amazing Doctor
Dr. Johnson is really a bright young man, that is very practical and down to earth and can converse about just about anything. He is always positive and really does a great job and seems to really enjoy what he does. I would highly recommend him. I have seen him for a few years now dealing with an arthritis issue and he has always been so helpful. He always goes the extra mile and takes his time. I would highly recommend him, the Rogue Valley is lucky to have him.

Bunionectomy
I had a Lapiplasty, minimally invasive bunionectomy done by Dr Johnson last year and it has done great, It was painless apart from the first day or so and was a good experience. Dr Johnson saw me every week for the first 3-4 weeks and guided me through the process. I have sent a few of my friends to see him and they have also reported a good experience as well.

Review of Dr. Johnson
I had a Lapiplasty procedure done in 2022 by Dr Johnson to fix my Bunion, and was a good experience. He called me everyday for a week after the surgery and really cares for his patients. I would recommend him to everyone. He has a great caring personality and is easy to talk to and he explains everything well. Thank You Dr J!!

Dr Johnson
I can't say enough good things about Dr Johnson and his staff. Amongst other foot problems which he has helped me with he performed a fusion of my big toe joint in 2021 and I am now able to walk without pain. he is easy to talk to and really seems to care about what he does. He is very professional, and I would highly recommend him.

Dr Johnston was very careless when cutting off a callus from my big toe, he missed the callus and took a chunk of skin beside the callus which was bleeding like crazy, he left the room and came back with an alcohol swab & 1 piece of tissue which he used to wipe off the blood from my toe and then from off the floor. He didn’t even have a protective cover on the floor, then he proceeded to wrap a bandaid around my toe and sent me on my way. He hadn’t even stopped the bleeding and I wasn’t aware of that so it bled all over my sandal as I ran other errands that morning. It was a mess. All he said to me was “it’s ok, It will heal quickly”. Well it’s been 3 weeks since it happened and it’s still painful when I walk on it - especially while wearing shoes. I do have severe neuropathy in my feet & legs with hypersensitivity to heat-cold & pain so I know that made it feel worse but he should have been more careful. He also assumed that because I have neuropathy I must be a diabetic and put that in my records “ But I’m not a diabetic “ and I don’t appreciate him misdiagnosing me. This all took place in his Eagle Point office.

Worse podiatrist in the valley
Went in for arthritis in the toe. Suggested surgery / two surgeries later and a toe that does not lift up anymore. Arthritis is worse. Unethical. Cannot find one good thing to say about the “doctor”.

Knowledgeable and practical
Dr. Johnson has treated me for several different foot issues over several years and is always efficient, knowledgeable, and careful in his recommended treatments. In treating he is very skilled. He does not over-treat, and allows sufficient time between appointments for the foot to heal, suggesting home treatments to support the process. I recommend him to those having problems with their feet.

My son had an ingrown toenail. Dr seemed “off”—jittery and unprofessional. The incision resulted in a permanent deformity. Saw Dr twice (initial and follow-up); both times were bad. I regret that my son was put in his care, and my son’s toe bed now (this is years later) appears to be a total loss. (We did all possible for healing, post-incision and forward.)

I suffered through 2 years of awful foot pain due to Avascular Necrosis before I went to see Dr.Johnson. He wasted no time in getting to the root of my problem and after a low dose steroid shot I was given custom orthotic that corrected the problem by changing where I put pressure while walking. These Orthotics are the real deal, probably about the best available. Dr.Johnson did what 5 doctors before him couldn't do and correctly treated my condition. So grateful to him and his staff. I would tell anyone having foot pain that is ongoing and severe ,like mine was, to see Dr.Johnson!

My husband shattered his calcaneus (heel bone). They said he would never walk again. Dr Johnson managed to pin the shattered bone fragments together with screws and a plate. It was several months of recovery and a second surgery to remove the hardware but now he is completely healed. Dr Johnson made it so that our life could continue. My husband was able to continue in his career that requires long standing. He is an excellent doctor and surgeon. Thank you Dr Johnson.

Worse doctor ever! I would give him a 0 star. I went in for minor ( arthritic) pain in my toe. He recommend I have surgery. Regrettably, I didn’t get a second opinion. He performed the surgery - he placed a 6” plate and 6 screws in my foot! Post surgery, I could not lift my big toe. He had damaged the tendon - he recommend to re-do the surgery, to correct this problem, and I agreed only because I was terrified that I would never be able to lift the toe again. So, placed under general anesthesia for a 2nd time; he made the problem worse. Fast forward 3 years. Still can’t lift my toe, finding shoes that fit properly is s nightmare. I mean I can go on about how how he has affected my life. Stay away from this doctor.
