He was very knowledgeable and recommended a removal of my ingrown toenails. I went to another podiatrist 6 months prior who said I didn’t have ingrown toenails. That Dr said I just needed to go get a pedicure; which I have done 3 or 4 times with no real help only that my toenails look cute. I am so thankful that I came to Roseburg Foot & Ankle Specialists. Because they really know what they’re doing. I wish I had come here first! Dr Smith explained everything clearly, told me the benefits of the procedure and explained in detail what was going to happen. The best part is that this is a forever fix! While he was giving me the shot of Novocain he asked me questions to help distract me. Which worked! I too recommend Dr Smith to anyone!

Dr. Smith has been caring for my feet, which had some special needs, for years. I depend on his expertise, and benefit from it. He is also beneficiary to the community and youth. I'll recommend him anytime.

I had a tear at the base of my toe caused by a massage therapist. Dr. Smith was extremely thorough, took x-rays and examined my foot thoroughly. He was kind, gentle and gave me a painless cortisone shot for starters. He then recommended taping of the toe to see if it would heal on its own. As a last resort, surgery was discussed. His office staff is one of the best I've experienced. I would highly recommend Dr. Smith for any of your foot or ankle issues!

Dr. Cordell Smith did a toe amputation at the 2 week post op appt. to remove my stitches, which did not hold, my toe opened back up and he scraped my opened wound with no numbing meds. He sent me home with a opened wound. The next day the office called & told me they wanted to re stitch me & dr. smith did not numb me again as he scraped my opened wound & stitched me up. I was in so much pain I could not speak or move. I went to Dr. Bishop for 2nd opinion and he always numbs when cleaning wounds.

Kind, considerate and an excellent surgeon. I have a foot deformity, Cavus foot, basically an extremely high arch which causes numerous foot problems. He performed 2 major surgeries, one on each heel, and done separately. Results were excellent. Before, simple walking was extremely painful and after, I was able to hike mountain trails! He also performed a surgery for hammerhead toes. He referred me to Spectrum in Roseburg for individually designed orthotics and they do fantastic work.

A very bad experience! Would not recommend him!!! Went in with one problem, came out with two problems! !!
