Caring Pioneer
Dr. SantaRosa was the fifth surgeon I asked to remove my rib to ease the constant pain of rib/hip impingement. My scoliosis had advanced so far, my rib sat and rubbed on my hip bone. She agreed to do the surgery even though it’s far from the norm. She stepped out of her comfort zone for me. A special permission was required from the hospital and she still carried on. She changed my life with that one selfless decision and I’ll never be able to adequately show my gratitude. I will think of her every pain-free day from now on. She’s my hero and I pray God’s most abundant blessings on her life and loved ones.

Serious billing issues
She assisted on my surgery in March 2020. I received a statement from her for over $7000 in February 2023. I never received an invoice. I have never met her. I was incapacitated when they called her in to assist with my surgery. She is out of network with my insurance. They denied the claim 3 times in 2020 Due to incomplete claims being filed. Out of the blue she wants Over $7000 and her staff is demanding payment. I don’t have the money. I was told by her staff that this is common practice for this doctor. They don’t like working for her and apologized for having to do this to me. So BEWARE unless you have deep pockets.

Wonderful!
Really enjoyed meeting Dr Santarosa. She’s very kind and caring. Took the time to explain things throughly. Felt very comfortable that I made the right decision. My operation was successful and through a much smaller scar than what my husband got for a similar operation! Highly recommend!!

Horrible communication - rude office personnel
I was referred to Dr. Santarosa for an upcoming spine surgery with another provider. They moved my appointment by text messages but never called or emailed me. They never told me what procedures would be performed and the day of my visit, they had moved my appointment to 9:30 AM without telling me. My appointment was scheduled for 2:00 PM and Dr. Santarosa was not in the office. Office staff hung up on me twice when I stated no one sent me another change to my appointment. Poorly run office, no apologies and have not heard from them since this.

A great bedside manner and a wonderful technician! I had a complex spinal fusion and my incision was less than a few centimeters. I went home the next day! I had spoken to friends that had similar operations and there incisions were huge and came with a week in the hospital from pain! I’m so happy she was my surgeon!!

I had a hernia repair with Dr. Santarosa. She was the best doctor I have ever seen. She was patient and answered all of my questions. I was so impressed with the way she did my repair and how smoothly the process went, I asked if she could work on my knee as well... unfortunately she couldn’t. I would highly recommend her to anyone! The recovery was very easy and I experienced almost zero pain from undergoing surgery. Best patient doctor experience ever!

Dr. Santarosa came thru so wonderfully! I had the opportunity to meet her an hour before my surgery and made me feel so calm for what was about to happen! She assisted my spine surgeon with having to move my organs so my spine surgeon could get to my spine thru my stomach! She was a blessing to work with and I’m very grateful for her. She has a wonderful personality and great bed side manner! She explained everything in great detail and I cannot thank her enough.

Dr. Santarosa repaired my hernia. The relief from the constant pain was a blessing. I expected a lot of pain after the surgery, but Dr. Santarosa suggested a repair with a surgical robot, and my recovery was great. She talked me through the process and the results were exactly as she stated. Small incision and quick recovery. If you have to be cut on, this was a good experience!

She is really a great doctor. I had a really large hernia in a bad location and was turned away 2 other surgeons. She agreed to take my case knowing it was high risk. We had a really thorough discussion about how it would be done and the risks involved. I really felt like she took the time to make sure I was well informed. The surgery went great! It was done robotically which was another plus. I look and feel better than ever. Her fornt office staff is curteous and accomodating as well. Highly r

Thank God for Dr. Santarosa!!! She performed an Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion exposure for my spine doctor, and I am so thankful for her surgical skill. She took the time prior to the surgery to explain everything to me. I was scared, but felt confident that she was the best for the procedure. I feel so good, I am walking 2 miles a day, and I don't think that would have been possible without her.

Dr. Santarosa is the ABSOLUTE GREATEST SURGEON AND DOCTOR I have ever had in my entire 51 year's of life. She is the 12th surgeon I have had and I have had over 20 surgical procedure's. I chose her based on her reviews and because she was on my insurance plan. I was able to schedule a surgical consult within a week and, because of Ashley, her AWESOME insurance secretary, Dr. Santarosa did my surgery 2 days later. Dr. Santarosa treated me with such kindness, dignity & respect. SHE'S THE GREATEST!
