I’m Torn
Being new to the area and 6 months pregnant I needed an OB rather quickly. Upon searching for one taking new patients in the area, we agreed she was the one for us! She was bright and light hearted and personable. She was easy to talk to and eased us when we had questions. We loved her! Then I started to notice she wasn’t reading my charts and I had to advocate for myself based off of previous OB’s and my diagnosis’s. New chart program issue, ok. They weren’t reading the test results from their own lab for my glucose test. I failed, I had to bring it up. End of pregnancy she gave me her number to text when I went into labor. I texted on the way to the hospital and she said keep her updated. When I got to the hospital I realized her team hadn’t scheduled my induction from days prior so the hospital had none of my info. I was still signing insurance docs while pushing in the delivery room. I didn’t hear from or see her again until my 6 wk check up. She said sorry I couldn't make it.

I never met Dr. Fordham, I called for an appointment back in November and was told that the next available was in February. I scheduled the appointment. I never heard from them again. I called the day before my appointment to confirm and was told by a person that seemed to be a very uncaring person that I do not have an appointment. The unkind person stated that she tried to call me to reschedule my appointment because the Dr was going to be on call and my voicemail was full. Well, this can't be true because I check my voicemail every day. I use my phone for business. The person then told me that the next available is in April. If for some reason that office could not reach me by phone they could have sent an email or a letter. I scheduled time off from work for this appointment I waited nearly 3 months for. This was not right. She really wanted me to wait another two months. This is really wrong. I made an appointment somewhere else and the staff was very friendly and caring.

Simply put, Dr. Fordham is awesome! She’s very knowledgeable, friendly and understanding. Being new(er) to the area, I didn’t know where to begin in my search for an OB/GYN. I gave her practice a try and I’m so happy I did. I can’t say enough good things about her.

I really appreciate having Dr. Fordham as my doctor. She was very understanding and helped my fiance and I with all of our appointments, questions and problems. I would recommend her to any woman who needs a Doctor that will treat them just like a friend and have patience while answering questions. We felt very comfortable and welcomed. Trust me in the hands of Dr. Fordham, you will be well taken care of.
