He was very professional. My spine surgery was on 5/21/24 and it was the best it could have been considering what is was. I would recommend him absolutely!!!

Talented Surgeon
Dr. Wewel did a surgery on my neck. He and his fellow surgeon came to visit me in the hospital every single day leading up to my surgery and he even visited me once afterwards before I was discharged and allowed to go home. It was awesome of him to take the time to do that, showing he cared. He also took the time to answer all of my questions (I had a lot... surgery in my neck was a scary idea to get used to) both before and after the surgery. I will say that his office is harder to get in touch with now that I am out of the hospital, but if patients use the portal they can typically get a faster response. Regardless, he works with a mixture of patients, including spinal trauma patients, so I can deal with a delayed response from time to time. This man truly did phenomenal work and helped me get back to living my life like normal with hardly any residual issues after a serious, potentially debilitating injury. Thank you!

Terrible doctor. Doesn’t talk to you when you have
Did not recognize my infection after his surgery and let it go on for months. I called him many times to try to get help, but he wouldn’t answer.
