Dr. Joshua Dworkin, MD

Dr. Dworkin did my carpel tunnel release and everything went better than expected. He was very friendly and caring. I would recommend him!

On 10 24 I23 I was admitted to Bay Area Hospital with a fracture in the neck of my right femur, from a fall. Dr. Dworkin was on duty and inserted 3 screws in my femur. He came to see me only once, and told me that sometimes screws fail, and if that happened, he would do a full hip replacement.Now I am in pain almost 15 months later. A knowledgeable pain specialist in North Bend sent me in for an MRI. I have Avascular Necrosis, and arthritis in the hip. And upon seeing a new Orthopedic doctor at Bay Area Hospital last week, I need a hip replacement, with removal of the screws.Dr. Dworkin is no longer affiliated with the rotating doctors at Bay Area Hospital, and their current doctor does not do hip replacements. They want to send me to Eugene for surgery!I live in Bandon and do not have any way to get to Eugene and back home, or for follow up visits.I am very upset that Dr. Dworkin did not do an MRI BEFORE doing surgery in my hip fracture last year!

Dr Dworkin, Dr Dechter, and their whole team honestly are just so very kind and helpful. Very knowledgeable with great communication skills.

Dr. Workin spent the time I needed to understand all my options and went into great detail. Very personable.

He was a master of his craft and no nonsense. However it is bothersome that my primary told me I had a fracture but the specialist said there wasn't. Further concern will be directed towards Lourdes and not this dr.

He explains issues in plain English. It's black and white no Grey areas.

He did pretty darn good when I asked him why the 'other Dr.' didn't come in. I didn't recognize him, and thought that we'd been given a different Dr. to see today than the one we scheduled with..

The staff were AMAZING! I had X-rays and consultation. Appointment was at 9 and I was out at 9:25! Fastest doctor’s appointment EVER! This was my first appointment at this clinic! Great first impression! I RECOMMEND this clinic!

Red haired lady at front desk. We were challenged by computer form filling and she gracious stepped up to help my husband.

Knew his work. Caring courteous friendly respectful patient.

Dr. Dworkin was friendly and very professional. He explained what I could do or not do for my current medical complaint.

I believe he did not spend enough time explaining my choices and chosen, not enough explanation of how to use my arm once the brace is on it. Such as, he said I could take a shower. But may lift my arm? The nurse got the answer from the doctor.

When he first walked in, he did not introduce himself. He was disrespectful, rude, and expressed no compassion. He did not look at me, explained nothing, did not listen, and cut me off when I tried to talk. I was there for extreme shoulder pain. I lifted my arm up as far as it would go which was about level with my hip. He then took my arm and raised it over my head! I screamed in excruciating pain. He then said with no smile and not looking at me, “I’m here to torture you”. His demeanor was so that it sure didn’t seem like a joke. If it was an attempt to be funny, it still would have been an unprofessional thing to say. I will not go back to him. I do not recommend to go to him.

Dr. Dworkin was great. He listened asked lots of questions and didn’t jump right to surgery or medications.
