Dr. Mark Merrell, MD

Actually, I’m not happy with the hip replacement that he did. First appointment after the surgery he admitted that he put it in a little too high. I have had more problems with it after the surgery then before the surgery. The only thing they recommend is another hip replacement Which is a lot harder to recover from. The last visit I had with him he acted unusual and my husband and I had to simply leave the office because we had no idea what his problem was. I refuse to see him ever again. I hope he doesn’t hurt anybody else.

Dr Merrell did a great update on my cartilage loss on left hip and excellent review of recent X-ray. Doctor referred me for an MRI. He re-affirmed that continuing to exercise by climbing Badger is much better than becoming sedentary. He also said acupuncture works for some people and if I am getting good results then keep going. A hip replacement may be inevitable some day but for now not today.

It was my first visit. Easy to complete all the paperwork on line before my appointment. Staff was very friendly and I was seen timely to my appt time. Dr. Merrell was great. He didn't want to hear what other doctors had told me, just have a conversation with me and what I needed.

Staff were responsive and friendly, got through the paperwork easily and quickly. Interview with staff nurse was smooth and informative. Dr. Merrell was warm, friendly but professional and focused. Discussed issues and history and developed a path forward. Felt comfortable and relaxed during the visit.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Visit was on time. The options for treatment were clear and left for me to decide upon. Dr Merrell was helpful and to the point. I appreciated his explanations on the treatment approaches. A good fella.

I have always found the best Doctors and was not disappointed with Dr. Merrill. I came to Dr Merrill with both shoulders and my left knee injured. End results were both shoulders and left knee were replaced and I'm doing very well, I highly recommend Dr. Merrill and his staff an awesome group!

Knee replacement Surgery has gone great. Very little pain. Knee is solid and works well. Great care above and beyond normal care

Dr. Merrill thus far has not had me on his table to repair my knee. He has had me in his patient exam room three times and each time was short, to the point and he always left with this, do you have any questions. My advise, research your personal procedure and come prepared with the questions you probably do not want answers to anyway, but ask.

Very good experience for a first visit. It was a short wait to be helped when I checked in. The staff and Dr. Merrell were all very friendly and helpful. I especially appreciated how Dr. Merrell took time to explain my condition with me as well as my treatment options. I was referred by my PAC for a work related injury and I highly recommend this clinic.

Dr. Merrell has been my orthopedic doctor for years. He has done knee replacements, and shoulder surgery for me and I would recommend him to anyone looking for an orthopedic surgeon. He explains what the problem is, gives you options, and HE LISTENS. That is very important!

I was having lots of pain in both knees after falling off a ladder. Dr Merrill was very professional. He told me all my options and then administered shots which help with the pain by end of day. My knees felt so much better. My appointment was timely both in waiting room, in the patient room and x-ray. Everyone at the clinic were pleasant and helpful. I would recommend you visiting TCO for your other problems.

Wait time was very short. As a second opinion, Dr. Merrell gave me his concise opinion and recommendation about my hip. I will come back to him if I decide on surgery.

Dr. Merrell is an excellent surgeon and I have entrusted him to complete rotator tears in both shoulders.
