Dr. Ihm is great! He's knowledgeable and kind. He makes sure you understand and are on the same page with his treatment plan.

We've been incredibly impressed with Dr. Ihm. My husband was in considerable pain and Dr. Ihm saw us on short notice. He took great care to listen to my husband's description of his back trouble and asked thoughtful questions in a caring, considerate way - it was clear he really wanted to understand every aspect of my husband's experience, not just during the current severe pain, but also his history and what led up to this situation. During the physical exam, he explained what he was looking at and why, so we'd understand the value of each movement or request. He was thorough, professional, kind, and willing to take time to answer all of our questions - we never felt rushed. He was knowledgeable about current research and very thoughtful about finding the most effective solution. He explained things well and shared his thinking throughout our appointment, bringing us along as he considered my husband's symptoms, what they indicated and didn't indicate, and the pros and cons of various treatment options. Because of this, by the time we left, we felt very comfortable with the approach he was recommending. He also made follow-up plans that made us feel very secure, because it was clear he wanted to know about any changes to ensure that the treatment plan was effective and make any necessary adjustments if something changed. So far, the medication he provided has significantly improved my husband's back pain. We are delighted with Dr. Ihm's care. He took the time and effort to find the right solution, rather than making assumptions. I'm so glad we found Dr. Ihm and would highly recommend him for anyone dealing with back pain!

Bad bedside manner. Only goes by what the patient says and very little examination. If your in pain be prepared to take nerarly a year or more.

Dr. Ihm and his staff are world when it comes to patient customer service, bed side manner and expertise. Dr. Ihm takes his time to explain your condition to you, goes over your results thoroughly and gives you multiple treatment options on how to proceed. He along with the nursing staff respond extremely quickly to any requests. I was able to receive emergency medications and paperwork within a few hours of my call. I have never experienced such care. I highly recommend Dr. Ihm and his staff.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ihm for over a year, during which time he has treated me for a chronic back issue, as well as an unrelated elbow injury. He has always been easy to talk to, a good listener, with exceptional and personalized follow-up.

I fractured my spine last May and was told I might not walk again. I then reached out to Dr Ihm. He never gave up on me and helped me get back on my feet. I don’t think I could have walked again without his expertise.
