Warning Comes Before Destruction. The only reason that I chose this doctor is because of my previous pregnancy over nine years ago with Dr. Gerard who has now retired. The experience that I had with Dr. Gerard made me want to have another Doctor Who was located inside of Presbyterian Hospital. Things that should have been RED Flags 1. Me continuously getting yeast infections 2. Me fainting three times in the course of three months Both of those red flag should’ve been an indication to him that I had gestational diabetes However I was not tested until I was 34 weeks . And I was not put on insulin until two weeks before I was supposed to have my child on June 7 (By another Doctor at medical city Who said my sugar was too high) The Down fall of my Experience with Dr. Behan begin on Christmas Eve, I fainted inside of a grocery store and after the doctors office reopened after the Christmas break, I informed them that I had fainted and was told “ its normal for pregnant people to faint

Perhaps he is a fine enough doctor for an easy pregnancy. However, if it's a complicated pregnancy, that's a different story. He took a week to refer me to a specialist. He discounted my symptoms, when they should have been a red flag. He wouldn't prescribe diagnostic tests for a month. Then the test was positive. He took personal phone calls while giving me a serious diagnosis. He didn't tell me what to watch for in case of an emergency. When in an emergency, he sent a different doctor.

Dr.Behan is one of the nicest doctors you will ever meet. He really cares about his patients and has a way of making you feel that everything is going to be fine. He is reassuring and makes you feel at ease. He has delivered both of my children and I wouldnt have had it any other way. One of the best at what he does Definitely recommend him!

I have been seeing Dr Behan for almost 15 years and would never think of seeing another Dr! He has vast knowledge in his field, actually listens to his patients, makes jokes to help calm you, looks to natural remedies before handing out a script, best of all he really does care about his patients. I remember when I lost my pregnancies, I could see in his face that he felt my pain. Not many Dr's will do this, but he will. It is refreshing to see the importance of family in his practice.
