Awful provider. I would give zero stars. I am still suffering. I fell down my basement stairs October 2019. I went to Dr. Bax thinking he was capable in fixing my broken wrist after going to Urgent Care. I wish I never stepped foot in his office. He set my wrist WITHOUT any injection to numb the pain. It hurt like hell. Then did a very sloppy job of my cast. He put the cast on before the swelling had even gone down. My insurance lapsed in November 2019. He refused to see me without payment. My insurance finally was reinstated at the end of November. By that time things had taken a turn for the worst. He did an X-ray and noticed that NOW I needed surgery when it should have been done from the get go. Dr Bax is a surgeon, but tried to pass me off to his buddy to do the surgery. I am still in pain. My right hand is my dominant hand. I have young children and can hardly use hand to paint, write or to even wipe after using the bathroom. I would advise going elsewhere.

I just called the office to make an appointment for my daughter the receptionist was rude talked over me and basically said he doesn't work through St. Mary's so he wouldn't take her and hung up on me. She is a patient or should I say was.... They need to hire more capable people that work well with customers.

Dr Bax is a highly educated MD in Ortho a extremely knowledgeable orthopedic surgeon an runs a professional medical practice, I have been a patient for 10+yrs. Awfully rude , ignorant communication skills to patients regarding billing issues insurance types etc. Had a horrible experience w/manager "kathy" who has a very bad attitude towards her office staff as well as most importantly dr baxs patients.I would assume the dr. Does not know how horrible that women's makes his medical practice look

Horrible wait time. Everyone is scheduled the same time. The staff are a joke. They go against the doctors orders and do what they feel is right and ignore what the doctor says. Had to show up numerous times to talk to the doctor because they didn't do what he asked them. If I ever need surgery again I will not go their. It looks like a welfare clinic.

Waited over an hour from the time of appt. No organization by staff. Place was full of patients, making spots all at same time. Felt like I was at a free clinic or welfare office

You are part of a herd in the waiting room...every one has the same apt time. If you have a wheelchair or walker it is impossible to get into the bathroom- you have to get out of them to enter. The front door has no handicap button, the sidewalk in front of door is cracked and broken, he doesn't answer questions, leaves exam room leaving you not knowing if he's finished, he spends no more than 2 or 3 minutes with you. I will never put my self thru this again.

The receptionist for this office is very ignorant and very unprofessional. I didn't get past her to even make an appointment. If she would have not over talked me and let me explain my son's situation better maybe I would have seen the doctor. Now, I will never go there or recommend him to anyone because of her ignorant attitude!
