The thing I do not like is that I am being billed to see the surgeon Dr. Ortega, and a fellow did my treatment and I did not have an option. I think that everything was a 10

Consult for hamstring injury
Had a quick exam that revealed tendinitis in my upper hamstring. Got a cortisone injection that gave immediate relief. Also a few weeks of PT. Feeling way better.

Dr. Ortega is awesome
My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Ortega for years for our osteoarthritis (knees) and our grandson has seen him for shoulder issues from baseball. Dr. Ortega is very personable and always takes time to answer questions and offer suggestions for treatment.

Dr. Ortega's Diagnostics
I visited Dr. Ortega for hip pain. After X-rays and examinations, he said that my only problem was slight calcification (yay, no new hip) and prescribed physical therapy. The Andrews Sports Medicine practice is efficient, professional, and friendly.

Dr. Ortega is an extremely skilled and knowledgeable physician. He is also gifted with compassion and understanding. OA, My Knees & My Fighting Doctor
I noticed problems with my ability to stand and walk without intense pain, anxiety, and the unknown. Dr. Ortega saw me immediately and identified the problem. I am now in therapy to work on getting relief. More pain, yes! But worth the effort! From my gel injections to listening to me as I point out certain conditions being experienced, he and his team are the best support to have!
