After MRI and X-rays he knew exactly what I needed to fix my torn hamstring. I was deeply satisfied with the care in a timely manner. He treated me with respect and showed compassion to fix my issue! I would definitely recommend him and his staff!

As a disabled vet, I've seen A LOT of doctors since my injurirs happened. Several in the ortho field. Even though it was my first visit, I was kind of surprised at how down to earth he was & how much he seemed like 'just another one of the guys' because several of the doctors I've had were cold, strictly clinical & had the personality of a fence post. It left the impression that the priority was simply the number of patients they could see in a day & you were just one of those numbers in the process, you know, kind of like cattle. But, I was really pleased with how my initial visit went & will definetly be using him again!!

Dr Barrett was very thorough in his medical examination. He answered all of my questions in a very polite way. He also spent all the time necessary for me to understand the issue I was experiencing. He is highly recommended for his bedside manners as well as his medical knowledge!

Visit was relatively quick and everyone was very nice. The doctor quickly assessed me and did what he felt was needed. I do recommend.

I initially presented to Dr. Barrett at the in early 2022 to perform a specialized procedure called the MACI for a cartilage defect in my left knee. Dr. Barrett was experienced in the procedure and came highly recommended from the company that provides the procedure materials and grows the cartilage sheets. He performed with surgery with no complication and I was very pleased overall with my experience. As I worked through a lengthy recovery he was courteous and always attentive to my questions and concerns as a patient. A medical professional myself, he spoke at my level and held my opinions in high regard. Unfortunately my procedure failed at the 8 week mark so after 12 weeks post MACI I underwent a second, larger, procedure to correct an angular limb deformity in my femur at the end of September. Had to get on a plane the next day to fly to my mothers funeral and could not bend my knee. He fit me in that day and fixed me up so that I was pain free to get on the airplane. Thank you very much Dr Barrett.

Dr. Barrett was a wonderful listener and spent a lot of time with me trying to figure out what was going on with my hip. Hopefully I won’t have to see him again, but if so, I have full confidence that he will be able to help me with further treatment

Unfortunately I had two accidents on one leg and everything that seemed impossible turned out to be a great outcome. Not once did I feel like I wasn’t in good hands with Dr. Barrett and Dr. Lawin. They are professional and are extremely helpful in giving me the knowledge I needed in my experience. Every visit was different and I healed up properly as I followed their instructions. It was not easy but please listen to what they expect you to do so you will get better and stay on track of the healing process. They met every need I had. I’m grateful to be able to walk again, to what look impossible from the start, I had two great surgeons that never let me down. MS Sports Medicine is such a great state of the art facility. I’ve made new friends during each of my visits and the staff are always friendly. 6 months out and time is now enduring as I continuously become stronger. Dr. Barrett is an awesome surgeon who cares about his patient's mobility and quality of life. My knee was severely degraded due to meniscus tears and arthritis. After being repaired by Dr. Barrett it feels better than it has in probably 30 years. Thank you for getting me back on my feet and active again!

Dr Barrett did my surgery on my knee September 16th. Had a awesome recovery no problems at all. The nurse team is very compassionate and caring. They Listen to your concerns very well. Dr. Barrett is very friendly and easy to talk to. Listens. I am 69 yrs old and tore the muscle from my hip. Dr. Barrett fixed it! Everybody at the sports center was very nice and helpful.
