Dr. Jordan Hopkins, MD

Outstanding service and care!

Dr. Hopkins has been both my husband and my cardiologist since he opened an office in the Bradenton/Sarasota area in 2018. He has cared for both of us, sometimes in hospital, in a most caring way. He always takes the time to discuss and answer all questions in a thoughtful and understandable manner. We feel so lucky to have someone of his caliber and expertise in our corner... a wonderful doctor!

I appreciate Dr. Hopkins sitting and having a conversation, with great eye contact and focus, in every appointment. He explains, answers questions and never rushes the appointment.

I called to schedule an appt and never received a call back so I called back about 10 days later and, unfortunately, Laney answered the phone. She was not pleasant and when I questioned something she asked that I didn't understand she repeated it back and I told her again I didn't understand what she was talking about. She was rude when I told her I didn't understand what she was asking and she abruptly hung up on me. She was not helpful when I was trying to speak with her and had a miserable attitude and came across as if she was a day laborer. She's completely useless and it's a shame she is affiliated with Dr. Hopkins, because I have heard great things and was looking forward to finding a great cardiologist and having a good experience. Unfortunately, it was the complete opposite and this is nothing against Dr. Hopkins, but my experience with Laney, who is a pathetic excuse for a worker, changed my opinion.

Jordan is a concerned, approachable and very smart cardiologist. Most importantly he's pro-acitve looking for ideas and solutions to your individual issue.

Very thorough with his explanations and treatment choices. He has monitored my recovery following a triple bypass and stents inserted. Focus is on patient's diet, exercise routine, and medications. A partner in maintaining one's health.

Was with two other cardiologists and taking five different medications and still not controlling my blood pressure yet on my first visit and an extensive consultation, he brought me down to two medications and the blood pressure has been under excellent control ever since. Seeing him every six months now and feeling great!

On my first visit I felt very comfortable since Dr. Hopkins reviewed all my issues in great detail. I would recommend him to anyone especially if you are somewhat nervous.

Friendly staff, very short wait time in office, Dr. Hopkins is friendly, knowledgeable and doesn’t try to rush you out the door. He actually listens to what you have to say. He asks questions. Highly recommend.

Dr. H is a gold standard for cardiologists. He intently listens and responds to this patient’s ailments and concerns with very practical and professional recommendations. His support staff are very friendly and provide great service.

The first thing you notice, there are very few people waiting in the office. Shows me Dr Hopkins, wants to have the necessary time with each patient, and that’s exactly what Dr. Hopins did. Not only, did he take as much time as I needed to fully understand my situation, but he also answered questions my husband had; who didn’t even have an appointment! Certainly don’t find that kind of dedication very often..It’s obvious; people matter with Dr Hopkins!

Dr. Hopkins was referred to me by my primary care doctor in Oct. 2018 when I was admitted to the hospital with congestive heart failure. I have great trust in him and admire his strait-forwardness and compassion. I also very much like his office staff. They are efficient, friendly, kind and compassionate. I consider myself fortunate to have Dr. Hopkins as my cardiologist.

This is the kind of doctor I would like in every medical specialty. Thorough and highly professional with a genuine concern and respect for the patient. The office staff are far ahead of most every other office in terms of efficiency, promptness, friendliness and courtesy. They are as much as a pleasure to deal with as is Doctor Hopkins.
