I was looking for a new PCP and needed to complete some urgent blood-work/labs requested from another doctor. My first visit with Dr. Kerley was great. After my lab-work, he introduced himself and listened to my concerns about starting a new med and explained the possible side effects. On my follow-up visit, he clearly explained my labs and actions I could take to avoid any problems with the new med. I'm glad to have a professional such as Dr. Kerley, my new PCP, in Lookout Valley!

Good luck seeing an actual doctor. More than likely you will be seen by a rotating staff of PAs and Nurse Practitioners. At one appointment, I actually saw the elusive Dr. Kelley. He diagnosed me with bronchitis, but was more interested in telling me about hormone replacement therapy and weight loss drugs. That was enough for me to find a new doctor.

Most of the office staff is rude and argumentative especially the Dunlap office. Half of the Providers are not qualified to treat much more than a common cold. Have been told its is not possible to ever see Dr. Kerley. Half the time patient can self diagnose self better than provider. Can not even accurately read test results.

Dr. Kerley and his staff are extremely courteous and professional. They treat you in a compassionate manner and do not rush. They are knowledgeable on a wide variety of medical problems.

Do not take a toddler there! Incompetent PA simple went there with my 10 month old for a cough and ear infection. Waited over an hr. PA did not have proper equipment to examine my child. Then left the room for over 5 min to come back and stated her supervisor advised her to tell me to take my son to the ER. For what? His o2 was 99% respirations we're normal he was playing and laughing. I refused to take him to the ER and called his pediatrician who was also dumb founded for an ER visit.
