Dr. John Shuster, MD

I used the NWOS Walk-in Clinic. I had a short wait , they Xrayed my hand and then was seen by Dr. Schuster. He diagnosed my issue and recommended some interim treatment while I wait for an appointment with a hand specialist at NWOS. I was very impressed with the efficiency of the team and how promptly I was seen. I wish I had not waited so long to have my sore thumb looked at. I definitely would recommend the NWOS Walk-in clinic. Dr. Schuster was very personable and knowledgeable of the issue I was having.

After a week of trying to get answers and help for my sprained ankle my daughter suggested I try walking in to NWOS. In less than 10 minutes I was seen, diagnosed, treated and comforted. And scheduled for therapy. I was relatively pain free for the first time in a week. What a blessing!

I went through a very painful two months of conservative therapy before going to Northwest Orthopedics. Dr Shuster was clear and concise about my options. He explained what was going on in layman's terms. They helped get the insurance pre-approved in record time. I'm now pain free and getting back to an active lifestyle.

I have degenerative joint disease and my lower back has been causing me a day of pain. Dr Shuster went over my x-rays with me and my options and we made a plan for treatment. He was extremely kind and spent the time I needed to fully understand everything I needed to know about my options.

Staff was friendly. Dr. Shuster was very professional , friendly and everything I could ask for in a doctor evaluation and appointment. I would highly recommend himto other people.

Dr. Shuster is amazing from my first meeting to review test results to my second meeting at the surgery center. He was very thorough in detailing my medical diagnoses and what to expect before surgery, the procedure and follow up. I felt so relaxed knowing i was in his and his highly experienced teams very capable hands. Here I am on day one following surgery feeling so much better than I imagined. Everyone taking care of me at the office and surgery center the past year was very professional and caring. Thank you to all.

Dr Shuster loves his work. He is attentive, compassionate and able to communicate on a one-to-one level. More importantly, he is an extremely knowledgeable and skilled surgeon. He diagnosed and repaired my serious lumbar spine condition in 2021 which has allowed me to get my quality of life back. All this and he takes the time to personally answer any questions I may have via the portal. I am pleased to recommend him without hesitation.

DR Shuster got my husband in quickly for an appt. Very personable, caring, and professional. He diagnosed the prob spot on which was confirmed by an MRI. Once you see Dr Shuster the ball starts rolling fast! He did sucessful spinal and neck fusions on my husband approx 12 yrs ago and we trust his expertise and skills completely!

Terrible!! Don’t waste your time. I was shocked and very disappointed in his 15 minute appointment. There are a lot of great Orthopediac/Neurosurgeons in Spokane, Dr. Shuster isn’t one of them.
