Each and every person that I came in contact with before my surgery were very caring, concerned and informative. Always including me in the conversations of what was going on.

Dr. Shaw always takes the time to listen to any concerns, talk about the plan for the issue I am there for, constantly asking how I was doing during the procedure and reassuring I wasn't experiencing any pain. He has great bedside manner and continues to always make me feel better by the time I leave his appointment.

Dr Shaw explained to me accurately the problem and how he would correct the problem. He showed me the ct xrays and pointed out the problem areas and how he would fix me up in surgurgy. The assisting nurse was fantastic also.

Dr. Shaw came in on a sat night around 1am to take my appendix out. He is a very professional,and friendly doctor who cares about his patients. Very pleased with him and his team(: will recommend Dr.Shaw and Mercy Hospital..
