Wonderful Wonderful Women..
I had Dr. O'Connell for a few years infact i do believe she has been my doctor since before the pandemic. She is caring, helpful, and a wonderful person. She helped me relate to my daughter. I am going to miss having her as my doctor. I would recomend her to everyone.

L.
Awful. No other word to describe it. She was rude, disrespectful and kept interrupting me whilst explaining my symptoms. No sympathy, professionalism or respect for the patients or even the location she works at. No dr should have 3 in nails. No dr should be rude and dismissive with patients. Do yourself a favor and find another doctor.

Definitely not my Dr.
The worst office visit I ever had in my 75 years old experience. The Dr. walk into the examination room with high heels, nails 5 inches long and a mini skirt, well you can imagine and promptly sit down like a man in front of my wife and I very disrespectful to say the least. She conducted a couple meaningful test asked me to walk down the hall and came to a conclusion that I was 75 years old and she couldn't do anything for me, didn't even listen to what I had to say, ordered a nerve test in my leg and that is not what I was there for. I can't believe that Cleveland Clinic let this dr. work there.

Rushed, Rushed, Rushed
My appointment lasted a whopping 15 minutes, after I drove over an hour to get there. I specifically asked the reservation desk if this doctor was neurosurgeon, which I was seeking out. I was falsely told yes. They are not. Discovered that when the staff told me upon arrival. This doctor did not even read through my extensive notes or previous MRI and other diagnosis of spondylolisthesis and severe facet arthrosis from two other orthopedic surgeons, tells me to get a "nerve test." And then, the kicker, tells me I am not a candidate for surgery. How would they even know? They are not a surgeon!!

Dr. O'Connell is a fantastic and amazing doctor
I have been a patient of Dr. O'Connell's for almost one year. She is kind, attentive, experienced and very knowledgable. I would highly recommend Dr. O'Connell to everyone. She has helped me tremendously. Her staff is so caring and wonderful. After reading some of the negative reviews, I have to wonder if they actually were patients of hers.

Unprofessional
Unprofessional from every professional aspect as well as personal aspect. Uncaring and not interested in listening to the patient. His/hers long and revolting fake fingernails are a disgusting sight when he/she approaches and touches the patient. Hard to believe that any medical facility would not have a minimum of standards for a physician's personal hygiene.

Unskilled at dealing with disc issues. Does not seem to understand patients pain or limitations involved due to severe disc problems. Very uncaring and has no real solutions. Should not be dealing with these patients. Telling them to just get up and moving and that’s why they have the pain shows his total ignorance of their condition, would not wish it on him!.. I would never recommend him to anyone!

Went To see him for a second opinion my husbands herniated disc we felt that he was very cold and Non interested in his past history and chief complaint. Played down his symptoms and just recommended physical therapy. Which had not helped him. Would stay away from him!!!

Took my 87 year old Mom who was having severe pain in her back, spine and hip area. He hardly looked at her and told her she needed physical therapy. He was cold and felt like he couldn't be bothered. I ended up taking my Mom to another specialist in a different location other than Cleveland Clinic and she was diagnosed with stage IV cancer. My Mom died 6 weeks later. Stay away from this doctor.

I had to see Dr. O'Connell for a severe herniated disc issue (diagnosed with MRIs) while my doctor was on maternity leave. He is cold, curt and comes off as uncaring to the needs and comfort of his patients. After his consult I was scheduled for spinal steroid injection a month later to help alleviate the pain. During that month wait I came back to see him due to the intense pain not allowing me to sleep and requested a new pain Rx. He made me feel very unwelcome and was unprofessional.

I’ve only seen him once for my sciatic pain. He took his time & listened to my bouts eith sciatica and a scam pain management dr. He was not quick to give me pills or shots, but suggested physical therapy. He gave me several names for therapy and told me his patients had good results at Partners in Motion (Boynton Beach or Lake Worth facility). I’ve finished ny therapt & will make a follow. Up apptmnt with him. Nice demeanor and doesn’t rush you.

I have been to many doctors for my condition and wanted a second opinion. I felt he was very cold and robotic and spent minimal time with me. Felt like he had no compassion. While he sent me in the direction I need to go, I left feeling very disspointed. I would not return to this dr. unless absolutely necessary.
