His office runs on time and Dr. McArdle is knowledgeable and thorough, answers all questions and has a sense of humor.

Dr. McArdle is what patients would like every doctor to be. He is authentic, trustworthy, knowledgeable, kind, patient, hears our concerns, and has a sense of humor.

Dr. McArdle was wonderful! He was very friendly, he took the time to talk with me and explain things.

First time visiting with Dr. John McArdle. I found him to be an exceptional physician in every respect. He is personable, kind, and clearly expert in his area of pulmonary medicine. He took time to get to know me and to listen to the chronology of my health issues. He then proceeded to show me and explain the thoracic CT Scan I had recently received. His explanation was clear and detailed, and he answered all of my questions and concerns. He then developed a treatment and follow-up plan which I absolutely intend to follow. Finally, I had some additional questions which I posed to him via the MyChart portal. He responded very quickly - and this was sincerely appreciated. I can't recommend him enough.

Patient, Knowledgeable and Kind are the adjectives I’d use to describe Dr. McArdle. To begin, he reviewed my MRI and CT tests before I arrived, so he was familiar with my history. He listened carefully and was patient when I wanted to repeat what I thought he said. Then he patiently explained the parts I didn’t understand. The entire office was responsive, too.

At this stage of my disease, there isn't a whole lot to do besides maintain observation and testing, and monitor changes, if any.It seems all that there is to be done is to experience the long, terminal decline. This has to be as frustrating for him as it is for me, and he's excellent at not revealing it.He has a reassuring demeanor, which has been comforting for me.
