Horrible service, you would not get to see hin
Arrived and this is a place of total chaos. Receptionists ignore customers while they talk to each other. I ask to see Dr Lehr, they told meI need to see an optometrists first. Second appointment also with optometrist. It gives me the impression their system is more concern in maximizing the charges to your insurance that with your health or wellbeing.

Is Dr. Lehr good? No idea...
Arrived on time and was barely glanced at. "Sign in we'll get to you," was the only greeting. I knew I was in trouble when the average age of the folks in the waiting room had to be north of 80, meaning they could be there all day if necessary. I'm a working person who books appointments at providers near my home for around my lunch hour. I could already tell this was not going to be a positive experience. One gentleman who had been there before me (who knows how much before me) started complaining about the wait. After 30 minutes when the gentleman and I were still waiting (and, of course, he was before me). I gave up. I walked to the front desk to scratch out my name from their oh-so-important list, which is the universal sign to the desk staff to finally "care," I heard, "Wait! Wait! We'll get to you!" What? Now that I'm mad and leaving? Still looking for a decent ophthalmologist who respects my time as much as I respect his/hers. Know anybody?

Dr. Lehr is the most expert and caring retina specialist available. His post surgery follow up is the most thorough and excellent you can have; others in the field have said so and it is also my personal experience. I had a detached retina and surgery; it detached again (a retina will do as it pleases) more surgery, etc. and other complications; Dr. Lehr brought us safely through it all. Dr. Lehr is not only a highly skilled and experienced surgeon, but a doctor who truly cares about you.
