Extremely disappointing. He is not my kind of physician. He wasted my time and his own. He was arrogant , disrespectful and inappropriate. He failed to provide the information I needed that was specific to my condition. He had no interest in my past medical history. He wanted only to fill in the blanks on the computer. He is an embarrassment to the UW System. I and my family have received care at this clinic since 1961. I will never return.

Compassionate and helpful
I'm surprised to read the other reviews. Dr. Kelly helps my son through 2 different allergies, one of which is a rare situation that other doctors (ER) dismissed. I find him to be responsive, receptive and compassionate. He is caring toward my son, and communicative and kind toward me in all of our conversations. I feel I have a knowledgable, practical partner on my sons care team.

Condescending, rude, talked over my answers after asking me questions, questioned why I was even prescribed an epi pen and never asked about the times I needed to use it after a reaction, told me I likely had rosacea without taking a full history of my triggers, seemed to be enjoying making me uncomfortable with his “gotcha” questioning. Seemed biased against me as a “middle aged woman” (his words) and repeatedly said he had never heard of things that I knew from reading medical journal articles. I lodged an official complaint the day after seeing him and transferred to another allergist. I am hopeful that if enough people share with his organization that he is creating an uncomfortable atmosphere and refusing to listen to patients there will be changes.

Deeply Disappointed – Aug 12, 2023

Condescending and Disrespectful
I’ve never been talked anyone and so aggressively. He was not convinced of my story which is a long and complicated road of allergies spanning many years, making me recount very specific details of past allergic reactions. He belittled me every step of the way, looking at me like I was absolutely incapable of speaking or recounting very specific details of medications and needed to “see” evidence of past testing. He ultimately reluctantly agreed to send a blood test to labs after an exhaustive plea. Please carefully consider another allergist.

Condescending
I saw dr Kelley because my previous allergist retired. He spent most of the appointment bashing my previous allergist and his decisions without knowing my history. He seemed very arrogant and kept winking at me which made me very uncomfortable. I will have to rethink whether I will continue to see him.

First clue was his interruption of my initial explanation of why I was there. He asked me to condense my explanation down into one sentence. I found Dr. Kelly to be arrogant, dismissive, egotistical and rude. Relative to environmental allergy, he had zero accurate information regarding mold as a an environmental toxin. He seemed agitated that I would present information he had no knowledge of. Will never see him again. Absolutely do not recommend.

When I saw Dr. Kelly on Nov. 7, 2016 I found him to be very, very arrogant and condescending. He did not believe that I have egg and garlic allergies. During his questioning with a cocky smile. he argued which I had never asked for one. He reluctantlly tested for egg and garlic which proved to be true. I woud never ever reccommend this rude Dr. to anyone!!
