The entire staff were so knowledgeable and kind throughout the entire process. I was optimistic about how this would go; but from the initial I interaction the nurse and then Dr Hunt himself, I knew I had made a smart decision. They made sure I was well informed the entire process and I am just one week post surgery and can see so much better. The eye lift was not cosmetic for me due to my vision limitations. I am already able to see out of the corner of both eyes better than I have for many years. I had been getting new glasses prescriptions annually and was discouraged for many years as I felt they were not working.Upon his first exam I was told my eyesight was not the problem and he was correct. I Strongly recomebd him with all my confidence to anyone suffering from the same issues I did. Hopefully I never heed a cataract surgery, but if I do I will be reaching out to Dr. Hunt again.

We met Dr. Hunt, for my mom's eyes check. Since the first appointment, Dr. Hunt was outstandingly nice and he explained everything in a clear, didactic way that keeps you calm and confident that everything will go right. In fact, he was so clear that even my five year-old understood the cataract surgery process. He answered all of our questions and made sure we had met all of the team that would be helping with the surgery beforehand. He has a great team that works with him and every single one of them is always willing to help you when you need it. My mom is very happy with the results because she hadn't really be able to see clearly for a long time. Everything has gone great, no complications and everything exactly how he explained it. I met with Dr. Hunt with what for me was a profoundly significant issue as it appeared that I had developed cataracts in both eyes and had affected my vision to the extent that I did not trust my eyesight for driving unless it was on a bright day. Dr. Hunt from our first meeting put me so much at ease that I was ready to take the next required steps without hesitation! I have dealt with many doctors for assorted reasons in my lifetime (who has not) but I at once recognized what I received from Dr. Hunt was an ingrained level of caring and understanding that I have very seldom received with other practitioners. Do I wish I had more than two eyes so that I could continue to see him, undoubtedly!! We met Dr. Hunt when my son ruptured his eyeball. It was a very traumatic time. Dr. Hunt participated in the surgery to repair his eye and continued to treat him in recovery and follow up care. Dr. John Hunt, M.D. in Jax, FL recently performed Cataract Surgery on my eye. Now, just 2 weeks later, my vision has been restored to 20/20 & I was even able to drive to St. Aug. to see my grandkids! I’m literally & figuratively looking at the world through rose-colored glasses, only now the lens is crystal clear. Dr. Hunt was there for me from the initial consultation, throughout the visits & even after the surgery. I actually relaxed, even during the procedure, because I had gained such trust in him. I’m seeing clearly for the first time in a decade & I’m amazed daily how my restored vision is affecting every other part of my life.
