In treatment with her for about six years. She only cares about reimbursement. See my Google review for details of why I left & would never refer anyone to her. Never.

New Patient
No problem with scheduling 1st time appointment. Arrived early, staff very friendly and efficient, was seen by nurse prior to appointment time, seen by Dr Richardson on time, very good evaluation, was given time for questions, very impressed.

Once a year…
If you have fibromyalgia (or severe back pain), do not go to her. She didn’t examine me. She barely spent any time with me. She prescribed celebrex (which my PCP took me off of due to other conditions) and said to come back in a year. A year. No other help (and I do not take, nor do I want to take pain pills, I want actual help). I told her I had severe back pain. She didn’t seem to listen at all. I was later diagnosed with degenerative disc disease and facet arthropathy. I’ve since been approved for disability (because the social security doctors *actually X-rayed* my back and THEY found that diagnosis). I felt like she was surprised when I said I was there because of fibromyalgia and I felt like she didn’t care to help because she didn’t want to see me again for a year. Needless to say I did not keep that appointment.

She has been providing excellent care for me since 2009. For the past six years I have in Central Kentucky and I still monthly travel to the Columbus Arthritis Center for my treatments and when I have an appt with Dr. Richardson. I have had arthritis for forty four years and I would not go anywhere else.

I was sent to her for a second opinion on medications, she spent a total of about 5 minutes with me, looks at my hands and told me there was nothing wrong with me and I didn't need any medication and I just need to exercise and take fish oil supplements. I told her I had x-rays that showed erosions in my hands she just blew me off and made me feel like the pain I was having was all in my head. I left there feeling very defeated. I would not recommend her at all. I work in the medical field and am appalled at how I was treated by her. I would give her 0 stars if I could.

She spent the allocated 10 minutes with me each time. I saw her for about a year and a half. She told me my next step would probably be a hip replacement and handed me off to a colleague (by the way she was wrong). I was not sad to not be seeing her again. I always had the feeling she was hurrying me. She did not really care and it showed and I felt it.

Dr. Richardson was able to pinpoint my RA and stick through with me until she was able to find a medicine that worked for my case. When we ran across problems she researched and found solutions. I would recommend her to anyone who needs to get to the bottom of their symptoms for RA. She also has a excellent bedside manner.

I am a physician and accompanied my wife during her visit with "Dr" Richardson. She was aware that I am a physician. Quite frankly, she still performed the most pitiful evaluation I have ever seen. A 3rd year med student would have been more useful than she was. I took off work from my busy practice to be there; I was extremely disappointed. We were her first appointment, but she was still 30 minutes late..with no apology. I will not be referring any more patients to her. They deserve better.

Dr. Richardson is awesome. She actually listens to you and really tries to find the right treatment for you. She has never made me feel like I don't matter. I wish all my doctors were like her. Her nurse is the best also and if you leave a message for either one of them you get a call back with in two hours. You are always seen right away and treated as a person not a number. I have referred my dad and aunt to the Columbus arthritis center and they love it there too.
