Caring and compassionate doctor
Dr. Frankel took the time to listen to me and figure out what was going on with me. She was able to figure out what several other doctors could not. I highly recommend Dr. Frankel.

Terrible doctor
You will wait over two months to see her, and then she’ll treat you with the utter most disrespect. My mother had a procedure with her and from the start she treated my mom with annoyance, spoke to us with very short and incomplete answers, and huffed and puffed the whole time. We will be submitting a complaint about her. If you have an elderly parent, don’t take them to her. No one deserves to be tested the way she treats people. What a terrible doctor.

Waited a month to see the doctor. Upon getting there and checking in the receptionist told me she does not see people who have a child with them. She said sorry we can reschedule for 3 months down the road. Very unprofessional and rude service. Highly going elsewhere

She really doesn’t listen!
The staff was okay, but she definitely has a problem. Unfortunately she thinks she knows your body better than you do. As you explains symptoms and other possible related conditions. She dismisses everything. She’s a miss know it all. She’s the doctor, and has the MD. It’s because of doctors like her, is the reason why I go to herbalist and naturopaths. I have leaky gut syndrome, malabsorption issues for years it has contributed to my 7 autoimmune conditions. A N A was positive for over 15. I have vertical lines on my nails due to deficiencies. I let her know I had pictures from a camera pill I swallowed years prior, the Dr. was Naturopath. She disrespected this doctor as if he was a nobody. She refused to look at any of the pictures. FYI: He was the most compassionate and caring doctor I’ve ever went to. He help me and my whole family. I’m going to keep looking for a doctor who really care about their patients. Someone who doesn’t talk down to you and act like their doing you a favor.

My procedure was scheduled at the last minute. My PCP asked who was to be my doctor. When I said Dr. Frankel, she turned away & smirked. I advised staff that records from my last colonoscopy were at an Advocate affiliated hospital. I wasn’t noted to be in need of the procedure for 10 yrs., but only 5 yrs. had passed. My PCP’s staff still insisted I needed it now. I arrived early, before 7:30 am. The room was freezing! I was left there for about 2-1/2 hrs. Dr. Frankel asked why I didn’t bring my last procedure records. I noted having told her staff where the records were. I woke up & was told to dress myself & wait. After getting dressed, 20+” went by. I needed a restroom break, but only found a staff restroom. I wandered down the hall, & surprised staff. I was told to use the staff restroom, then go back & wait. Another 60+” went by. It was after 1 pm. I got ready to leave, & finally was stopped again by staff & signed out. After more glitches, I also no longer see that PCP.

The worst doctor that I’ve ever been to. She should not be practicing medicine. I seriously questioned why she was the only doctor that was able to get me in so quickly while others were booked up months in advance. Dr. Frankel was absolutely terrible!

Knowledgeable, thorough, caring, and patient. She took excellent care of my son. We were shown nothing but kindness from the time we entered the office, until leaving the recovery room. I would highly recommend Dr. Frankel! I seriously question the negative reviews...

Dr. Frankel was the worst physician I've ever seen. She dismissed my symptoms and refused to answer legitimate questions about her own diagnoses. I wanted to create a treatment plan with her to address instances of fares of my condition, but she was unwilling to assist. By continuing my treatment elsewhere, I found had serious illnesses she was negligently minimizing because she couldn't see past her own apparent biases. This woman should not be practicing medicine.

WOW, staff from HELL apparently working for doctor from one. know you will NOT reach this office but instead "advocate medical group" (yes, TAKE that offered survey) where you wait about a half hour at best. All the while hearing just "important your call is"! And is it the doctor's office? NO! Basically a call-center confirming you can't CALL THEM, they will send them word because yeah, their lines are busy. Always. how's this possible without taking any calls? NO reaching them on portal! RUN!!

OMG!!!! Dr. Frankel and her medical team were so professional, kind, caring and hospitable while having a colonoscopy procedure done. The anesthesiologist, Dr. Kamur, was exceptional. I almost cancelled my appointment after seeing the negative reviews on Dr. Frankel! So glad I chose to go anyway. My experience was totally different in every way. She was warm and polite from start to finished. I will be going back when it’s time to have Dr. Frankel perform my procedure again.
