Dr. Jennifer Ducie, MD

Dr. Ducie was following me for an ovarian cyst I had while pregnant. Being referred to oncology while pregnant was daunting at first, but Dr. Ducie quelled a lot of my worries and concerns. She did end up operating on me after I gave birth to remove the cyst. I was very appreciative of her answering all my questions and the surgery was successful. I never had any bad experiences with my interactions with Dr. Ducie and her staff. I would hope to not have to refer people to her practice of oncology, but she is very well trained and experienced in this field and I was glad to have her as my treating physician and surgeon.

Dr. Ducie operated on me and removed a matasticized CR tumor in 2020. She is awesome. I was in pain, worse than I've ever been (and I gave birth natural twice). She was the only Dr./surgeon who actually listened to me and fought to have my surgery scheduled asap. She knew exactly what to do and did it all while keeping me open in the OR for the least amount of time possible. She went beyond. Although my cancer has returned (it was not reproductive cancer), my lower region where she operated on have remained nodule/tumor free. God Bless her.

While I think she is an adequate doctor. She is not a good communicator. Her office is not any better. During my visits, she was not friendly and showed little empathy. I saw her in February of 2019 and she wrote a prescription which should have been for the year. I have since moved and in August of 2019, both my pharmacy and I have left numerous messages for a refill. No response to either of us. This is not acceptable.

Dr. Ducie is a very knowledgeable, professional and caring physician. I had my cancer surgery in Jan of 2018 and am still being followed. Never had any issues with the appointment scheduling, follow-up care, etc. She is an exceptional physician and human being. I was lucky to be referred to her and have her as my gyn/onc physician. I would highly recommend Dr. Ducie to any woman who is need of a gynecological/onc surgeon. She is one of the best.

Dr. Ducie is knowledgeable, professional, and caring. I found the entire staff at Mercy to be high level professionals. Dr. Ducie performed my surgery and was my medical oncologist. I feel so blessed to have been completely taken care of by her and the Out Patient Chemo staff. All angels in my mind!

A new patient for Dr. Ducie but very familiar with cancer treatment centers in various states and with healthcare in general. I found Dr. Ducie an exceptionally knowledgeable, articulate and compassionate physician and all of the staff at the Institute for Gynecologic Oncology outstanding. The only reason for 4 stars in my rating about appointments is that my appointment was not urgent. Highly recommend this physician and the Weinberg Center for Women's Health and Medicine.

I think she needs to work on her communication skills. Making appointments are difficult when she goes 2-3 different places and operates in at least 2, and they are not affiliated with each other. Sure would have been nice if either the Doctor or her staff explained that first. Still don't have a surgery date. And can't even talk to the surgeon, you have to go through other staff members first. Their response is we will try.
