Joyful patient
What stood out to me the most was the complete exam she did and the time she took to perform the physical exam and to explain all the possible options I had. She was very personable and friendly, and inspired me to trust her from the first minute of the appointment.

Making the best of the worst
Faced with bad news and a terminal diagnosis, Dr. Nadkarni and her team provided what hope could be offered. Their visits were uplifting without being saccharine.

A year ago I was found to have endometrial stromal sarcoma, which is a rare cancer. I had a football sized mass, & Dr. Nadkarni explained everything about the procedure, warning me they may not be able to remove it because of its size & I could end up with an ileostomy. After 4 hours, she & her colleague were able to remove the mass along with four smaller ones. Her aftercare has been phenomenal & I will be forever grateful that I was referred to her. I sincerely believe she saved my life. She is so kind & caring.

I think Dr. Nedkarni is the best oncologist in the country if not even the best in the world. I have been her patient since my first surgery Nov 3, 2016 when she was called in to assist because the surgeon who started the surgery to reconstruct my bowels found cancer in a place in was not expecting to find cancer. Shortly after my last chemo April 17, 2017. I needed a liver biopsy. Dr. Nedkarni called me herself (I think it was the same day of the biopay) to tell me that the growth on my liver was benign.

After 3 years of a rare infection & illness non cancerous and seeing tons of doctors in different fields, Doctor Nadkarni did the surgery other doctors wouldn’t or weren’t confident in even at the Mayo Clinic. She truly cares about her patients and takes the time to talk and explain and listen to any concerns or questions. I’m forever thankful for her being on board and giving me a chance to live my life fully. I cannot say enough or thank her enough!
