Dr. Jennifer Chou-Kim, MD

I had a very disappointing experience. She spent over 10 minutes lecturing me about a procedure I had 15 years ago, explaining why she believed I shouldn’t have had it. When I left her office, I felt extremely anxious and upset, as if I were seriously ill-Felt I was dying of cancer. It took me a long time to recover from the way she spoke to me and the things she said. Additionally, she asked personal questions unrelated to my medical concerns, and when I later reviewed her notes, they were completely inaccurate. Overall, I felt like just a number rather than a valued patient.

I had a phone visit with this doctor for OB follow up. She was very condescending and insensitive to my needs. I had a uterine biopsy where the doctor was inappropriate with me. I was having issues after the biopsy. She was more interested in getting the back story with the other doctor that was inappropriate. I told her it’s hard to keep bringing it up and I get very emotional. She said well I have to ask and said I think your pain is emotional. At the point I just ended the call. She is insensitive to a woman’s need. I was very disappointed by her behavior. She deserves no stars.

Unreasonable. Irrational. Didn’t even have the audacity to check on me while I was in the building for 30 mins. This doctor blocked my chance of getting any prenatal care for the next two weeks. If anything happens to me or my baby, it will be on her.
