One year ago Dr. Garver performed a total reverse shoulder replacement on my right arm. One year later and I am very happy with the outcome. No pain! I have great range of motion - not 100% but so close I don't consider it a problem (overhead reach slightly less than previously). I play pickleball and have the ok to play golf, which is next year's goal. If you need this surgery just follow ALL the doctor's instructions as well as the PT regimen.

When Dr. Garver walked into the room, I was at ease with her. I immediately noticed her politeness, intelligence, and kindness. She mentioned that she was the second-highest surgeon in Massachusetts to have performed shoulder replacement operations, the highest being in Boston. Hearing this information made me feel like I was in good hands. A friend of mine for ten years told me to ask for Dr. Garver because she was 100 percent pleased with her performance when she had her shoulder replaced three years ago. This is Dr. Garver's tenth year.

Dr. Garver was excellent as always. Dr. Garver repaired my left rotator cuff and bicep tendon seven years ago after she took over for the retiring Dr. Sumner Karas who previously repaired my right shoulder. I admit to having qualms about a young new Dr. but Dr. Karas assured me I would be in competent hands. He was absolutely right! She did a wonderful job and I was working, golfing, etc pain free for 7 years when I fell from 6' and injured the shoulder and feared more surgery. Dr. Garver assured me that the MRI only showed o non displaced fracture and would heal on it's own. I was so relieved that I didn't need surgery and that I didn't ruin her fine work. Dr. Garver is the best and I highly recommend her for anyone who needs to have their shoulder repaired. Jeff Scharmann

She was thorough, spoke in understandable language, and never felt rushed, as if she could spend the day with you, very personable.

Dr Garver took plenty of time with me so that I knew what to expect with my surgery and answered all my questions and gave me more information that I didn't know from the paperwork I had. She explained everything and showed me what she is going to do in the surgery and how she is doing it. I didn't have any questions when I left so it was a good visit.

Dr. Garver took the time that I needed to answer all of my questions with details and total knowledge of the specifics of my condition.
