Dr. Jeffrey Sponsler, MD

He was unprofessional, rude and insensitive. He and his nurse actually made fun of my relative during the exam. We will never go back.

He just up and walks out if you try to question him. He avoids the patient and will only speak with the medical staff. If you have already used him, I would ask for a billing print out as to what you paid him or your insurance paid him for. His STAFF is amazing though.

Gaslighting.

my first visit the man would not shake my hand and talked to me like i was a child and made an demeaning comment to me so i ended the visit and walked out!! the second time i saw the man was in the hospital after having a stroke. he spoke to me for about three minutes and billed $1452.00 two more visits in the hospital were less than a minute each because he was running late and billed $726.00 ea. i never received a bill until 3yrs. and 4mo. later threatening to send me to collection now that i have spent my savings and am living on social security!!!

Does not listen to clients. Has yet to fully diagnose my Sons condition. Subjected me to a number of unnecessary and painful tests (medical billing padding). Please see my review on The Alaska Brain Center.

How could you be so rude and be a DOCTOR? Never went to Sponsler’s office before but interacted with him because he is one of my customers. Of course he had to pull the “I’M A DOCTOR SO I AM BETTER THAN YOU” card. I have many of doctor customers and none of them are as bad as Sponsler. Terrible person.

Dr. Sponsler was amazing. He was able to figure out what was going on with me when it eluded other doctors. I'm very grateful to Dr. Sponsler and his staff at Alaska Brain Center.

I enjoyed the surroundings I appreciated the staff who took time and gave the extra tlc to me! I recommend the Brain center to anyone wants to beloved and concernent. I give them a awesome rating

I love that Dr. Sponsler is in the Valley. I was able to make an appointment and get in quickly. He took the time to explain things to me when I asked questions.

Dr. Sponsler is an excellent Dr. I like that he does MRIs at the Alaska Brain Center, saves me time. The staff is kind and courteous...I am comfortable and feel that his staff cares about me and my concerns... I would recommend him.

Went in for a headache came out with a multiple test. Never going back. Doctor only spent 5 min with me and was rude.

This was the strangest Dr visit I've EVER had! He talked in circles while repeating himself, insulted my weight and when I asked a question he made me feel like I was an idiot and talked entirely too fast. I felt like an inconvenience, not a patient! I was supposed to go back since I wasn't diagnosed but never did go back. I wouldn't go back to this Dr if he were the last Dr on earth.

If I could give zero stars I would. Dr Sponsler was the rudest doctor I've ever seen and that is saying a lot. He spent only 5 mins looking at my MRI before dismissing me as fine and prescribing me several medications I was allergic to. When I ask him if he could please check to see if there was a medication without Corn in it he said that he didn't know what was in medicine and that that wasn't his job. Not to mention his staff was all extreamly sick and gave me the worst flu I've ever had.

Never, ever, like ever go see this man. He was my neuro for two years out of desperation (no other neuros in Wasilla at the time) I can't even go into specifics because it would take days but trust me, he is awful!!

This "doctor" is a total jerk. After 15 minutes of my brothers visit he said our time was up, he had to go see another patient. When we were in his office again I told him that doctors not wanting to talk to their patients on the phone was wrong. Sponslor got up went to the door, said he'd be back. He never came back. We sat there for 15 minutes waiting for him to return. Every Rx that he has faxed over to the pharmacy has been wrong. We've had to have it corrected, taking 2 or 3 days to get it.
