Dr Hayer ruined my life. I fractured my hip from a fall on black ice. Turns out I didn't even need a Total Hip Replacement to begin with. The one he put in was done incorrectly and now 18 months later I have to get REVISED SURGERY ! When I went into his office for a six week check up, he was dosing off right in front of me. I have had popping in my hip every time I take a step and my lifestyle has been diminished. Also the pain has been consistent. I am crushed and outraged! I should be compensated financially, but a law suit of this nature is long stressful and usually not beneficial in the long run.

I had the worst experience with Dr. Hayer that I've ever had with a doctor. From the moment he met me he treated me like an addict. He cared more about writing me a script for narcotics; that I didn't even ask for; because I was balling my eyes out in so much pain, than he cared about me as a patient. He didn't care about any of my symptoms or how I was feeling. He didn't even look at my foot. I have never seen this doctor before, nor have I ever had a substance abuse problem. I will not return.

I jammed my left foot running on a beach on the R.I.shore. My whole foot became very bruised and painful. When it became very red, inflamed, and I couldn't bear weight on it. I drove to an Emergency room on my way back to Vermont, as it was a weekend and offices were closed. I was examined, had X-rays, and was told there was a negative finding for a fracture, as well as a report stating I denied pain! A few weeks of more pain, Dr. Hayer examine it and it was fractured. Accurate diagnosis! ??

I recently had emergency surgery out of state and was told to have the wound redressed by an orthopedist. Dr Hayer came into the room carrying his phone and a folder and DID NOT WASH HIS HANDS BEFORE TOUCHING MY LEG! He recommended a huge immobilizing splint, contrary to what my surgeon recommended. When the nurse started to rewrap my leg, I had to tell her to clean it first. The nurse never introduced herself. The waiting room floor wasn't clean. There was no Purell. Less than 5 minutes with Dr
