Dr. Jefferson Hunt, DO

Had a visit with Jefferson Hunt and his demeanor was less than enthusiastic. As a first time patient, this initial impression makes a big impact and the impression he left was that he had better things to do than see me! Did not smile and seemed bothered. I understand people have bad days but this carries over to patients visits. Needless to say, I’ll be re-evaluating my choices for further dermatological needs than The Center for Dermatology and Plastic Surgery! There are many choices in the Gilbert area, please choose carefully!

Really liked the whole staff as soon as I walked in. Felt calm, the atmosphere is right on with good music & they have skincare products for retail. It was my first mole removal and it went perfect. Dr. Hunt was professional, efficient and quick. I felt confident in his ability and grateful I had made the decision to go to him although he is not in my neighborhood so I did travel a bit to see him. I enjoyed connecting with him and his staff they are so kind and willing to do anything to ensure comfort & excellent service. Will go back and my husband willCome in to have his services here as well. Thank you!!

I was so disappointed with Dr. Hunt. I waited 2 months and drove 3 hours for this appointment. I have severe blepharitis in both eyes and was hopeful for any kind of treatment. Dr. Hunt sat with his arms folded, never really looking at my eyes. He said, after chatting with me, that there was really no cure and to consider a plant based diet. I had to ask for a rx of doxycycline. He was reluctant and thought it wouldn't do anything for me. But he relented and tried to steer me towards a specific pharmacy with a coupon but said they wouldn't accept my insurance. I'm guessing this would benefit the doctor and not me. This was a waste of time and I was charged over $300 for this appointment. What doctor doesn't offer some ideas for caring for this condition?
