Dr. Greta Zimmerman, DO

I saw Dr. Zimmerman 5 times in 2019, and the physician came across as unprofessional, condescending and impatient. She frequently interrupted and spoke over me, and one occasion talked at length about her own teenage child that was unrelated to my own care plan. Eczema & problem skin were attributed to “lack of control,” rather than discussed as medical condition & symptoms requiring treatment. A requested prescription was refused during a visit, yet the clinic contacted me days later stating the same medication was available (demonstrating Dr. Zimmerman’s lack of communication).In contrast, I’ve seen 2 other physicians at Columbia Skin Clinic—and both have been exceptional. While the Columbia Skin Clinic as a whole has some outstanding practitioners, I cannot recommend Dr. Zimmerman.

Dr. Zimmerman knows her business and she doesn't waste a minute of your or her time! She is very thorough and friendly and I am hoping that she never retires!

Annual check for 2021. First time visit was in 2020. Had concern with change in small growth in December 2020. Called and received appointment right away. Today and all previous have been on time. All personnel were friendly and helpful. Dr. Zimmerman was friendly and answered all questions and the examination was thorough.

I drive 150 miles one way just to see Dr. Zimmerman. She is competent, always attentive to my needs, and genuinely concerned about my well-being. She has a smile that lights up the room, and I know I have always received the best care possible at every visit!

Dr. Zimmerman is a very efficient and competent dermatologist who has a keen eye for skin abnormalities and which ones are problematic. Her friendly demeanor puts one at ease.

Dr. Greta Zimmerman has been my dermatologist for a very long time - possibly 20 years. She is not only technically talented but has the best bedside manner. If you all do not go for yearly skin checks please do. Our skin is our largest organ so be good to it and go to the best dermatologist in Columbia. She will help you take care of your skin and if you have a booboo she can fix that too or recommend you. Highly recommend!
