My visit was prompt and on time. Very professional

The staff was welcoming and efficient. Although the waiting room seemed busy, we each were called back quickly. Dr. Simard and his staff were great. He explained everything to my understanding. I received two shots and prescribed PT for a bit. Overall a great experience.

Answered my questions regarding my need for knee replacement. Told me what I needed to do before the procedure. Appreciated that the doctor had good eye contact when talking to me

Dr. Simard is by far the best knee specialist I've seen. Totally attentive, answers all questions thoroughly. Spot on with my treatment.

Dr. Simard has replaced both of my knees and I have not had a problem with either one of them. He always takes time with you to make sure he has answered all of your questions and that you understood every thing he told you.He is the only orthopedic doctor I go to.

I thought that I was needing full replacement knee surgery but the Dr Simard felt that I can go on till next year with just a shot avoiding surgery. Which is great for me.

Dr. Simard was very proactive and attentive to my care and needs. Very patient and explains procedure and what to expect.

Understood the pain I was experiencing and administered a cortisone injection in the knee. Helped so much. Showed me an exercise to do to strengthen muscles. Advised return visit in 2 weeks as needed. Offered PT as needed. Felt there was good communication and understanding.

Prior to my visit with Dr. Simard I was diligent in researching him and found that to be true when we met to discuss my concerns. Without question, he met or exceeded what I had read about him. He was quite thorough with his evaluation and left me confident about the procedure I need to have done. Solid guy, and you can tell that he truly cares about you. His support staff exudes the same care and compassion as Dr. Simard.

I had my right hip replaced 5 years and now I needed my left hip replaced. I started using Dr Simard after my previous orthopedic doctor moved. He has been wonderful. I did great with my first replacement so I was not looking forward to this one because I was older and I had a new doctor. Dr Simard and the staff were very reassuring about the surgery. It’s been 2 weeks since my surgery and I am doing GREAT! Pain free and feeling better than I have in months. If you are looking for an orthopedic doctor, I highly recommend Dr Simard. Everyone that works at OrthoSouth is friendly and professional. I loved the surgery center.

Had challenges in communicating with his nurse. She was not as responsive as I would have liked

Was thorough and not rushed. Listened to my complaints, asked questions and then showed me my x-rays and explained treatment plan. Great bedside manner and seemed genuinely concerned.
