Dr. Jay Rawal, MD

I saw Dr. Rawal 3 x @ Crystal Run, W. Nyack, NY, where he was listed as a psychiatrist. I made the 1st appointment; he insisted that I come in 2 more times. He tried to corroborate my list of medications. Two days after, he called me in a seemingly harsh & angry voice & told me to come in & bring in all of my med bottles b/c there wasn't a record of some. I went b/c I still needed a prescription for my anti-depressant. My bottles proved I wasn’t lying. He said, "I don't know what happened." I told him how I felt upset & denigrated by his call. He rationalized that, "He didn't know me." No apology or concern for how I felt & added, "I don't care if you don't like me. I don't care if you hate me." He cut one of my meds by 75%; I made 2 pleas to him to give me at least 50% b/c I couldn’t function w/ the low dose; he cut it 75%. He cut another of my meds by 30%. He insisted I come in a 3rd time. I still needed my script & went He said 2 things, he could’ve sent in an e-mail or phone call.
