Inattentive
At first thought he was a good doctor but after another appointment he didn’t spend any time with me and didn’t even know what I was allergic to as my ALLERGIST. Don’t expect to my doctor to know everything about me from memory but at the very least I expect them to read my chart before meeting with me. Didn’t feel like he listened to any of my concerns/ just ignored them. LOVE the staff who gives allergy shots but I did switch my provider. Wish the practice cared more about how upsetting the whole situation was.

I have seen Dr. Friesen for years for severe allergies and asthma. I have found him very knowlegeable, thorough, and friendly. He and his staff have gone above and beyond to treat my condition and deal with insurance problems. Highly recommended!

Made comments that made me feel self conscious about the med regimen I was on with my PCP. Didn’t tell me that one of the non-allergy meds I take daily could disrupt patch test despite knowing my regimen ahead of time. Everyone felt in a rush to get me out instead of help answer questions because my problems were left unresolved. I told his nurse I didn’t feel well after being injected with histamine for a patch and she said she “literally never heard of that before.” Spotted several errors on my notes and his nurse tried to explain to me why I was wrong about my own self reported symptoms (not understanding why her notes were incorrect) and did so patronizingly until another nurse overheard and stepped in to help her recognize the errors. Prescribed me something that made me dizzy because it was 2-4x heavier a dose than recommended, but zero follow-up. find an allergist who cares about your health and well-being.
