i appreciate how blunt and honest he is. There is no sugar coating during our visits. I am a diabetic with neuropathy and have developed wounds. He tells me like it is and points out after he has done all he can do, its my responsibility to further make these wound heal. His knowledge for healing is evident.

Confidence, that is one quality i must see in my doctors, even before compassion. Dr Shipey demonstrated both, especially confidence. He spoke clearly, slowly and with authority regarding the reason for my appointment.

He was very professional, he got right to the point and didn't waste a lot of time with small talk. He realized my time was just as important as his. He got the problem figured out and got me back on the road.

what a nice doctor, i take my 96 year old dad to see him. he is soo patient with my father and takes the time to chat with him about his world war 2 experience.
