Your trust is our top concern.

We strive to keep reviews honest, trustworthy, and fair.

Doctors can not pay for good reviews, nor can they pay to have negative reviews removed.

We monitor all reviews to ensure they comply with our guidelines and don’t include personal information, profanity, libel, defamation, harassment, obscenity or fraud.

Any reviews that are deemed fraudulent or violate our guidelines will be removed immediately.

All reviews are confirmed and audited before publication, and community members have the ability to flag inappropriate content for further review by our team.

Does not return or acknowledge messages; terrible at providing timely referrals; difficult to get appointments. Dr herself is smart, knowledgeable, approachable - but this doesn’t translate outside the exam room.

I have a degenerative arthritis condition. Surgeons at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital (NYC) performed a Posterior Lumbar Decompression operation in 2012. A “Spinal Fusion Stimulator” was worn throughout the following year. Since then, I have undergone Pain Management treatment, endless visits to chiropractors, several rounds of physical therapy and twice daily dosages of ibuprofen. I remain in constant pain - lower back, thighs and hips in particular. Dr. Jamika Wallace agreed to prescribe medical marijuana but after some discussion, she suggested physical therapy and chiropractic care. Family and friends weighed in and all urged me to pursue medical marijuana - post haste- due for the persistent and increasing pain. Repeated phone calls from June 6 were ignored. On Wednesday, June 15, I received a call from Dr. Wallace’s nurse. She said that Dr. Wallace would not make a referral for medical marijuana. Stacy then offered the contact information if we wanted to report this incident.

Dr. Wallace is not very careful in her practice. She has neglected to order routine lab work for me and for my husband on several occasions. The last time she ordered my lab work, she forgot to order a test & I had to go back. She saw my husband, a diabetic who was ill, hadn't eaten in 3 days, but didn't order any labs or x-rays (not even blood sugar). She suggested a Covid test in 3 days if he wasn't better. A week later he ended up in the ER. His blood sugar was nearly 3x normal, his white cell count was high, and his kidney functions were way off. Dr. Wallace should have run the tests to catch these conditions before they got so bad. My husband was hospitalized with septicemia from a UTI that caused pneumonia and that could have killed him. The worst was that I couldn't get through to her office ( I called 3 times) and she never called me back after I left a voice mail. Her negligence could have damaged my husband's kidney, lungs, and heart permanently, or killed him.

If you suffer from ANY mental illness Dr. Wallace is NOT a good Doctor for this. She will not understand or try to understand your state of mental health. If i did not have a support system I may have done something I could of never taken back to myself ( but i did not and will not) basically because I have to go back to DE and I will get the help I need just got to figure out how I am going to pay for that and food because I have state of MD insurance.

Very unprofessional and close minded doctor, would not recommend. I guess that is why you should look up doctors prior to a first visit. Hopefully, this review will help someone turn elsewhere. I have found a new doctor and the difference in what a great, experienced doctor can do is amazing.
