Kathy at the front desk is always helpful in person and when I call the office. The nurses Barb and Steph greet me with a friendly smile and make sure all my questions are answered. Dr. Hoffman is patient, thorough, and practical. He talks to me not at me, making sure I understand.

I have been a pt for a few years. I find this office to have such a comfy astmosphere. Dr. Hoffman is caring and really listens to my concerns. Stephanie, the nurse is so funny and down to earth. It's a pleasure to spend time with her. Kathy, the receptionist is so sweet. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Give them a try !

I have been with Brandywine Valley Family Care for many years. Front desk (Kathy) is friendly and always willing to help. The nursing staff (Stephanie) show honest concern and care about your health and well-being. Dr. Hoffman is the best! He takes his time with each patient and listens to their concerns and complaints. I would highly recommend this practice.

I have been with Dr. Hoffman for 12 or 13 years now. He has taken care of my problems and answered questions and spent a lot of time with me. We have moved an hour away and I am still going to him and have joined the new practice. He refers me to specialists when needed and I see quite a few of them. I hope we can continue our relationship for a long time to come.

I think of Dr. Hoffman every time I have trouble with my foot, which is frequently. He was my GP @ Brandywine Family Practice when I broke it. I am a runner and he insisted I didn't, nor did I need x-rays. I continued to limp around on it for weeks, finally got x-rays only to discover it wasn't just broken, all the bones just behind the instep were shattered. Unfortunately, I had gone so long untreated, the bones were already fused. It continues to give me trouble years later. He did the same to me with a case of pneumonia. Did I mention he presented as either nearly catatonic or rude? His office was a shambles (once I went to pick up a script and the door was open but no one was in there!) and except for one excellent nurse practitioner (I stayed until she left), other doctors and nurses rotated out of there like grass through a mower blade. I wish he would quit sending me advertisements for his new practice - just hearing his name irritates me. And I wish there was a 0 stars option!
