Rude, Condescending, Unprofessional
Received incomplete skin cancer screening. Makes incorrect assumptions about patient’s intentions. Generally abrasive and not informative whatsoever.

I have been to multiple dermatologist in the past for general acne concerns. Typically the same 5 min discussion and the physician is in and out of the room. I went to Dr. Yoo for this and discuss some cosmetic work before my wedding. Honestly any doctor can prescribe the same medication but the extra few minutes she took to discuss my concerns during my consult and follow up visits makes such a difference in my experience. She is genuine and caring and its clear from the way she talks to you. Not to mention excellent hands/work, I looked so natural and glowing at my wedding. Definitely a regular now.

My experience with Dr. Yoo was amazing. I had always had a very large seborrheic keratosis on my abdomen, and my previous dermatologist told me that removal would lead to noticeable scarring. Although it was aesthetically unpleasing, I never attempted to have it removed. When I moved to New York, I established care with Dr. Yoo, and during my first physical exam, she noticed the seborrheic keratosis. She expressed that she could remove it with little to no scarring. Dr. Yoo did not disappoint! The procedure was fast, painless, and Im happy to say that i have no scarring. Dr. Yoo is a kind, caring, and very skilled physician.

Dr. Yoo is the most INTELLIGENT and professional dermatologist who tells it like it is, even if you don't want to hear it. Her technique and gentleness far surpass any other practitioner I have seen for my condition, and she was able to correctly diagnose AND FIX my recurring skin issue in only 2 visits. I cannot recommend Dr. Yoo any possibly higher, my condition has all but disappeared for the first time in my life!

Incredibly rude and condescending. I could not believe that a medical professional was treating me with such disrespect. Her poor assistant attempted to make amends after she left, but by then I had already been reduced to tears. I hope in the future she will remember that people are coming to her for help. The last thing a patient needs is to be yelled at for asking a question.

Do not visit this office. I was over charged for routine visit where no procedure was done. I was left with almost $100 bill after insurance, even though she is in-network. On top of that, the office sent my bill to a collection agency (which dings your credit score) after only mailing three bills (I only received one). This is not standard practice and this doctor is clearly only after money.

Dr. Yoo is a very good dermatologist. I was able to book an appointment for the very next day. She is very thorough, knowledgeable and helpful. I found her explanations of the procedure and the need for a follow up to be precise and compelling. I would recommend her without any reservation.

I had a mole that I had since I was a tiny baby that all of my family know about. We used to joke about it as kids, it had a sentimental value to me.This doctor just removed it for a biopsy telling her assistant it was good for her experience like I was a guinea pig. She didn’t explain anything to me verbally; she just handed to me many pages of papers to read and sign, probably like 20 pages total. Of course it turned out to be benign, and now I have to pay hundreds of dollars for it.
