Dr. Jamie Kemp, MD

Dr. Kemp was welcoming and friendly during my first appointment with her. She referred me for testing by the cardiology team and then called me to explain the tests results and the reason for the drugs she was prescribing. I am a 77 year old female and had no idea there was anything wrong with my heart until my primary physician referred me to a cardiologist. I happened to come across Dr. Kemp. I'm still her patient and still having treatments for my heart. I may be her patient for quite awhile. My opinion: she's a life saver.

She has been my Dad cardiologist since 2019. He has been able to see her once. She promised to see him a year ago and she just cancelled 4 days before the appointment. He always sees a nurse. Another “give me your money” doctor who is just about collecting money and no taking time to see patients. I’m taking him to a real Doctor. Dad is a WWII combat vet and turns 97 this week.

I have no doubt Dr Kemp saved my life. She is the best Dr I highly recommend her. She takes time to listen. She really cares about her patients

I have been a patient of Dr. Kemp's for three years and I will be her patient as long as my heart is still beating! I am 70 years old and I remember when doctors used to call patients themselves but had stopped years ago. After Dr. Kemp had a heart cath done on me she CALLED me herself! It scared me at first because I thought it must be terrible news if she was calling me herself instead of having staff call me. It was not bad news at all. She said she just likes to keep her patients informed.

I am 68 years old. I received half a procedure under anesthesia. Was woken up and told that a cardiologist was called. Dr Jamie Kemp diagnosed me with Atrial Fibrillation. At 5 pm she saw me and gave me two sample meds. I am scheduled to see her on Friday afternoon.

I saw Dr. KEMP this morning as a new patient. She is the best, most compassionate and caring doctor I have ever been to.

Dr. Kemp is a skilled, knowledgeable cardiologist. She is very thorough in her clinical assessments, explains test/exam results in clear layman' language making even complex medical language understandable. She is pleasant to speak with and displays both compassion and empathy with her patients.

Probably the worst bedside manner I've ever experienced. Had two appointments with Dr. Kemp and both were humiliating. She made assumptions about me during the first visit. I work with hospitals and understand the pressure doctors are under but she couldn't get out of the room fast enough. The second visit was for a test. I was given a time to be there. I was on time. Dr. Kemp came out looked at me, turned around and LEFT THE OFFICE. Then they sent an aide to tell me they had to cancel. RUDE!
